It makes no sense. You can't reload unless you're holding the gun in both hands. I don't know if you've ever reloaded a real shotgun, but it's pretty damn hard to cock like that. Especially if the gun holds more than just one bullet.

Try acting out your reload in real life. You'll see what I mean.

Which is why they're called Spartans. They're much stronger then mere humans.
Its possible that the Cheif can reload in that way.
I mean , comon , he moved a half tonne bomb from a hangar , reloading like that is peanuts compared to that.

hmm no, you should consider the fact it's not 32 bit colours, so please, use a background without gradient >.< only use it for video's, the rest without bg looks good though

still, i find it odd to reload in the bottem, but it saves you effort at modelling and animating the hole =/

hmm it's not bad, but i rather find it a cheap solution, imo, should have stayed with the classis reload-ontop thing, but that's just my opinion.

will you make the empty spot some more attractive? it looks too plain now

shotgun model on the top looks bad (wtf near where the top of the shotgun ammo hole would be). Use the reference I gave you and fix it.

k thx for the ref higuy i fixed the area where the shotgun shell container and the loader join and you should see it in an updated animation. Yet I don't have any ideas on how to make the top where the shells are loaded more interesting. If anyone has a great idea i will try to recreate it.

Please, use the Refs I showed you earlier, it doesn't look very good at all prospectively at all.

Using this Ref you should have no trouble with perspective.
Try not to mess up a weapon again when you have a Ref like this.

Everything except the front part of it should match that ref. The back of that pistol looks big and awkward.

and the bottom looks way too skinny.

How does everything match up if you're only using one reference shot and it's a side view? The handle looks kind of thin your perspective, use the references Higuy gave you. Keep it how it is, it's fine, but you just need to work on proportions.

k i fixed the grip you guys were right the proportion was wrong. Yet the piece on the back on top changes between both references. Higuy's ref makes that piece larger than bungie's ref. Maybe that is a change they made so im asking should i make it as large as higuy's ref or keep it the size of bungie's for accuracy?

edit im altering it to veex's pic =P guess i can not uvw correctly

You do realize that Bungie used the same magnum model as Halo 3, and just added the attachments, and changed the texture color.

for hayabusas shotgun anim, you realize that way the halo shotgun is modeled, the shells have to be loaded into the top for them to stay inside the shotgun, right?
