It looks like a character from some anime.... i can't think of the name of the anime though... They called her something like err... Black rock shooter? Or was that the name of the anime....? or was it both....? I don't remember. If it's not.... then i fail. -_- Black★Rock Shooter (ブラック★ロックシューター) is the name of the main character of the OVA, Game and Series Black Rock Shooter, which are named after said character. Quote: --- Original message by: TielThere are so many things wrong with this, but I think it's wise not to question them.. It's anime bro, best not to question it. @Waffles Great looking model btw do you anything about ripping from PSP games? Project Diva?
MikuMikuDance most likely.
Quote: --- Original message by: XlzQwerty1How did you rip the models anyway?
The fact that the game uses Unreal Engine 3 pretty much does more than half the work.
give?
its all prerigged.
That can be extracted straight out of Halo 2.

Is the ground currently 3 'blocks' wide? For looks, yea. But I will probably add invisible walls that restrict the player to use only the center row of blocks. I am also working scrolling camera that follows the player like in mario. I like this idea, but can you make it so the player can only move forward and backwards (jumping/crouching included, of course) but disable their ability to turn? That would make aiming a lot easier from a sidescrolling perspective.
Yes.

wouldnt that mean the 20 million people that had xboxs in 2009 would also be idiotic little kids in your logic
give or take.

there were like what, almost 20 million xbox live users in 2009?
earlier this year, users topped 40 million. So if reach were as popular as 3, it would have about 500k players, amirite?
Anyway, can someone offer some help on the red dot problem i have above? No, the relative number of players using xbox live makes no difference xP yes it does, it proves there are more people playing xbox and barely anymore people playing halo when the number of xbox players doubled. That is only correct if every new xboxer buys halo reach, which they wont. That means they don't want it.i liked Reach. It got boring though :/ I still loved Halo 3 <333 Favorite Halo game of all time.
Or they are idiotic little kids that don't notice games like Halo and are drawn in by mindless call of duty.
You definitely want to fix up the triangles and 5+ sided polygons over there on the side. Using turbosmooth/meshsmooth, you almost always want 4 sided polygons only.
Quote: --- Original message by: anonymous_2009 Seriously, remove that image. It freezes my browser because for one, it's a PNG!... Don't use PNG's online!
And it's a huge image, use your brain..
You freeze off of 72 kilobytes?

Lol, already done this, takes forever to fix animations though...
Btw, what model importer script did you use? The 3ds max one or one for another program?
EDIT: is that the dreamy theater version? Edited by XlzQwerty1 on Feb 4, 2012 at 11:25 PM
Imported into Blender using a plugin, then reexported for 3ds Max. Yea its the DT version.
Its a re rig, since there were too many bones.
Working on the hair and skirt and other stuff you dont see there.
Possible to add some dynamic reflection into the warthog's windshield?
Quote: --- Original message by: Tiel A quick question that probably doesn't contribute anything to the topic at hand - how did you learn to model these vehicles?
The chopper is ripped from Halo 3.
It probably looks like that because it probably isn't rendered through Forza 4, or incomplete. It certainly isn't up to par with the visual quality of the other cars in the game. Edited by Advancebo on Aug 26, 2011 at 07:50 PM
