I'm pretty sure everyone on the team can only work on th eproject during the week-end. And since we also have a real life to contend with during the week-end, we don't get a ton of work done.


I think we can get a lot done today... Perhaps even have StKft hit the 95% (of one level) done stage if we finish what we need....

What do you guys think of the reticles? I'm modifying them so the white isn't overwhelming the red now.

The reticules themselves are creative, but not something I'd want to fit in with flood.

btw: I've put them in to start the process of new reticles. I'm not making them final without major changes.

Do not make reticules remotley like those... they are overly complex and do the exact opposite of what they're meant to do.

reticules are way too colourfull, this aint peter pan in twixyland. i already tried to keep the colour scheme grim, don't mess it up.

remove the meter elements, you complained about me keeping my work "hostage" while you just mess it up whole when you get your hands on it, give me more reason/motivation to "release" my "hostages", the h1 meter really looks out of place.

reticules should be simple, they are made according to a system, the design isn't made randomly because it looked cool, they tell you how the projectiles spread.

also, they obscure view rather than mark view, enough reasons why they arn't good.

just leave the hud to me like i always did k =/

Yo. He's on! :) We should talk to each other on xfire a bit more so we can actually learn to like each other.

You're also a bit late there. I'm just testing how they would look and people's response to them. Ofc They would be edited, however it seems not many people like how they would 'flow' with the mod. Another thing was, when I got them ingame, I didn't like them much either.

Btw: halfway done with 400+ sounds for the game. Someone needs to get me Flood sounds, if they can.

I never understood the meaning behind those reticules. Whats the point of having a marker to show you where your shooting if it blocks the vision of what your shooting at?

Made a quick five minute one. It started out as a sword reticule but then I remembered you aren't using a sword so I guess it would still work with the AR.

Eh, still too distracting. Just keep with the original reticles, and color them green/brown for color.

well it would be more see through in game but I agree I did get a little crazy. I kinda like the veins though.

It's a good design, but I think just making the reticules curvy/pointy, as well as flood-style colors, would be much more efficient.

i approve of the style, blends my hud design, someone actually got the right style and feel.

and no, this one doesnt obscure your target too much at all, atleast for this sword, i'd yet have to see how you would do other smaller reticules, but i really like this one.

add me on xfire, sar93, this stuff is worth a chat lol.

e1 im gonna put that reticule ingame now, i'll post a cap in a few minutes.

Because you touch your self at night :) The real reason is because I wanted to make it look like it was actually part of the characters body.

If someone gives me all the original reticules for the weapons being used I could see what i could do with them.
