Ehh, its too light compared both to the rest of the HUD and the FP arms. In normal Halo, the reticule color is the same as the HUD, as well as translucent.

yeah, a yellow FLOOD HUD (lol) would be cool, and the arm in the pic covers up too much of the screen

Yea I noticed the same problem, however the outline is made darker so it won't look too obscuring... that's how the halo 3 hud's are made.

thing is, it just looks bad if i darken it, and the transparency really just depends if you're looking at something black or white ofcourse, black in this case so it looks opaque.

For the arms, I don't animate nor do I have the time to do so, the sword is just because it's a sword reticule

I never understood the meaning behind those reticules. Whats the point of having a marker to show you where your shooting if it blocks the vision of what your shooting at?

Its almost like asking why Pepole get skins fro CSS even if thier Frame rate drops. Aethisticlly it adds uniqueness. Thast why pepole paint thier guns a highly noticeable gold, Go akimbo with pistols knowing they wont hit anything, And wish Duke Nukem Forever would realease

I hope there will be plenty of HUMAN encounters in it, we missed out on that in Halo's 1, 2 AND 3.

No we didn't! your saying you NEVER killed captain keyes and were killed by the marines that come through the door? or when you killed most of your allies in any mission so they turned on you?
See there were plenty of marine killing moments in halo.

back on topic, when I said that about HUMAN encounters, I meant as enemies, and Quarantine Zone really didn't cut it (the only Halo level where Humans are enemies) because they are ONLY in vehicles

Yes there will be human encounters.

And in the level Quarantine Zone, there is no Human enemies. Its Flood human forms driving vehicles.

I agree with this. Not only was it the only level where you fought enemy UNSC vehicle, but it was the only level in the Halo Trilogy where you fought Flood controlled vehicles.

When i get back i hope the placeholder will be ready to test properly. Along with proper fp anims.

BP: Try adding transparency and a lighter tan instead of a darker green to the flood sword.

you realise what you just said? making animations for 1 weapon takes a day if you're chilling and bored, we've got like 12 weapons, assuming you don't do it during school you only got weekends:
make that 6 weeks of dedication and motivation to make those wep anims.
and that's if you're not sick and you're mum leaves you be.

srsly... don't talk about such a big thing so simply, unless you do it, which isnt the case, keep the respect for such a job high. I guess i have to give props to gamma for taking the job.

I will probally never use these, and seeing that this mod is actually coming out decent unlike I thought it was, I think you guys deserve something. note: objects not scaled correctly.

oh the covenant map. the terrain never got done, and no one really wanted to finish it.. (or thats what it kinda seemed like, including me)

well considering me and sheer were supposed to work on it, and now were working on something totally better for another engine, halo style. I'll show pictures of it, later down the road.

oh and yes some of the models are from fracture and peril (actually that huge bsp was how fracture use to look)
