Nice, atleast I got a new video card so I can finally play halo lol. I just need to install windows and im all set. but it doesn't want to install.

That's just IK points, add the "right hand elite" marker to the PR weapon tag in the elite animations file and you're set

I'm finishing up the H3 Mark V now for the small chance MC will be seen in cutscenes, but that's all I'm able to do till next friday.

Good lord why do you insist in using such horrible fake bumping? He is using the tangent channels of a normal map to light an object.

Can you do better Deehunter? Nothing of yours has ever impressed me. The shaders can use work, the overall diffuse looks fine. I think you're just jealous someone else got their hands on H3 content and is putting yours to shame.

No, the fake bump method that CLS is using is the one that I told him. That is much better then what spartan 094 is doing.

I think the stock chief is higher poly than that one. I am choking on how disgusting those look, especially with the "bump maps". Usually they look fine, but not on that one. Just model in the details for once.

Thinking or not doesn't make a difference for you, it seems.

and for the record, I DID model the detaills in, but I cannot TEXTURE it that good to make the final result look better than bungie itself, wich ofcourse would be mad if I could, it's a hobby, not my job, so I use Bungie's Textures, being bound to their model ofcourse, as modelling it in messes the unwrap up

Also, having bumpmaps, it's just pointless to model what's in the bumpmap, just because crap halo only supports it for BSP's and not for objects... I'm planning to use a new engine soon anyways, so I halted modelling a hd armor some time ago, stopped at upper arms. I texture my retail armor models as close as bungie's model as i can, but you can always see a difference naturally.

Ofcourse you couldn't figure that, no problem, I understand

You know, you're the first to complain my work is too low poly, as people only said they're too high poly. Congrats.
The people here on the forum are never happy, doesn't matter what I do or release

I so lolled at that, really =P

I never imported it, that's true, as I don't see a use of doing that anyways.
Just to point out that I once managed to model the bump map content in as I mentioned before, but it's not gonna work out like Bungie's models, their textures are just way better than I could ever make, thus letting me use bungie's models.

I don't see the big deal =/ H3B content is always gonna look better, except if you're in CMT

I heard that before, why are people always saying that? isn't that chestplace just a low poly model of what the base armor of halo 3 is?

Halo 3 uses EOD armor, and EOD chest piece is different, its not as rounded as Halo 1's.

Ok, I'm just wondering I read the first page again and I found that only one of the levels had a backstory and it was basicly just infect/kill stuff.Will you guys be working a story for any other of the levels in the campaign?

Each mission has an objective.

c10: Escape and spread the infection.
c20: Find the key and capture it.
c40: Get to the control Room before the Demon does and stop the Key from turning.
d20: Capture the crashed Covenant ship and use it to escape the ring.
d40: Stop the Demon from destroying the Autumn. Updated Objective: Find a ship to escape.

Halo 3's HUD is nearly invisible.

And if this is supposed to be a Flood campaign, why are you using a regular elite HUD? I understand that you will be playing as a Flood Elite, but make the HUD damaged, or give it a more.....organic look. Because right now, it just looks like you're playing as a regular Elite.

And H2 Marines are ugly and fail. H1 or H3 Marines are ftw.

H1 marines are fail...

and i've modelled halo 3 marines but i havn't textured it yet, old news.

about the hud, i've said it's a wip, ofcourse it's gonna be floodified, logically.... it even uses arby fp hands because i havn't gotten that far yet, in that screenshot i WAS playing a regular elite

i guess you havn't seen the floodified one, i was redoing the hud =/

Didn't know that. Got any pics of the floodified one?

And I like the Halo 2 marines better in Halo 2. In Halo 1, I like the Halo 1 marines. They just fit better in their respective games.

Do the grunts have red/orange eyes? If not, giving them that would look better than dull grey/black.
