actually you're quite right. and you know why i say crysis? because most people here are too stupid anyways to understand what clock speeds would mean, and even if they did, they wouldn't know how to place it. crysis happens to be a big term in the benchmarking sector apart from 3dmark vantage the benchmarking program, so i suggest people stop acting newbish untill they actually know what they're saying. a geforce 4 mx wouldn't run crysis, and for most people that's enough information, especially when we're talking halo. I'd rather not reply to that, because Dennis probably wouldn't like the words I had planned on using. Then dont. I didn't :P

i happen to have finished FP legs for the Flood, i improved my own script for it, and because this is single player, it's perfect for this purpose, because only in multiplayer i had major problems. What is the point of fp legs?

fifth, i finished the melee weapon, you start off with nothing except your claws. idle animation is the left hand raised and attacking is swinging that claw They're tentacles, not claws.Does it really matter? No, but I'm a perfectionist :/

sixth, i reverted to the previous version of my hud and went another direction with it, so it's loose and it now glows like infection forms or carrier forms, you know, so the hud has a more organic feeling, can't be better now. So is it still blurry? From what I gathered at the last broadcast, its more or less blurry. Huzzah!

Who cares if its pointless. It will only take 3 days max, and this mod is going to take a whole ton longer than that. And why should you care about what delays this mod and what doesn't, you who has been bashing ever since it got off the ground?

Ok I've seen alot of new flood stuff but I haven't seen much about an new marines or covies and that stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you using the h2 marines, I would have gone back and reread some of this if not for the like 10 pages of mindless drama and personal bull crap from morons with BP I don't care about. Also what's the "extras" about on the first page?

Pretty much, yea. If there was a progress meter for sipping pina coladas, and making group chats that waste other people's time, then that would be full.

Level population work has been halted until the tagset has been finalized.

Boss?


Once in c20.
You'll be fighting them 2-3 times in c40. Numbers may vary.
And a few times in d40.

c20 is a boss fight with it I guess. Same with first showing of it in c40.

Grunts I use are Halo 3 grunts, actually h2 models with a h3 texture, caboose did that

Baked Bumps.

I guess my exams are completely halting ANY progress on this mod, isn't it =P



They were sleeping in sapien, so i had to crawl up close to get a pic. Reason i post it in low res is because it's not intended to be looked upon that close, the bitmaps are a reasonable 512x512 for the head, arms, legs and backpack
Oh right, I just notice that we havn't added glowing blue rings to the mask, mb, will fix after the exams, that's next week friday =/



Redid my elite and baked some custom bumps, it's halo 2 bumpmaps with some of my own detailled added in]

That's just IK points, add the "right hand elite" marker to the PR weapon tag in the elite animations file and you're set

I'm finishing up the H3 Mark V now for the small chance MC will be seen in cutscenes, but that's all I'm able to do till next friday.

We're not using that system, but yes, it is able, however we're not using any of the methods

The reason why we aren't having the player able to infect enemies, is so that they don't have to live through the dreadful ordeal of playing as an infection form.

Apart from the Ma5C the armor is canon, a Mark V armor, wich could aswell replace the low poly stock chief in cutscenes

updated shaders, and green, how it would look like as chief, h3 colour code from modacity
