And by busy, that includes refreshing this thread every 15 seconds, reloading it every 5 refreshes, and posting in it every 3 reloads.

Ed: So, you still have shields and the HUD? Or a custom HUD? And don't forget how high flood can jump.

You can jump as high as the other Flood.
Custom HUD.
Yes you have shields.

In the mean-time while you guys are waiting for an update. Ask a few things on what you are un-sure or whatever.

Cliffs and grass are the WIP at the moment. Beach Party did this, as for the structure, it has not been edited yet.

Cliff uvs are fugly. And it needs a ground map, and not a grass detail map uvw boxed onto the ground, which is too large.

It's unwrapped dumbshiit, none of them have detail maps, it's just a base map. It's a WIP, and you can shut up because all you ever do is have negative comments on things that you cannot ever hope to achieve.

cheat_super_jump? >.< Honestly, what do you think we are, a bunch of newbies who make BG AI mods everyday? The Flood just jump a little higher than Elites and MC. Done.

Also, Lone Warrior, could you inform me on the progress of c10's BSP so I can know when to start work?

If we wanted it that bad we'd jsut get it ourselves, we thought we'd save ourselves a bit of trouble by using yours, but like you said. Whatever.

@Polamee: All level population work is halted until the final tagset is complete.

@Super jump thing: Already been answered, but I'd just like to confirm that they do not jump incredibly high, exactly the saem as the other Flood.

So is there any chance of there being like a flood rage mode or something? What I mean is that when after pressing the flashlight button, the player could change to a super mode (after scripting a pick up of a powerup) where their speed, melee damage and jump height is doubled. When this begins, you could play that flood screech, while during this 30 second mode, you hear a furious heart beat sound while you wreak havoc on the cowering enemies, and the cool down/recharge time could be like 2 mins. Kinda got the idea from one Counter Strike superheroes mod, as well as that cut CMT powerup, so... credits to them if you want, don't really care.

Okay? I can stand up for my own stuff dude. I could have done what you did in 5 minutes. Now how does 5 minutes require any recognition? Karrde, you haven't obviously seen any of my posts. I have over 2,000 posts, and you see 2 and you judge what you see. Hate to break it to you, but that adds up to about .02 of a percent. Lone, it's alright, you don't have to be feeding the furnace.

anyways, updates have been going on here and there, on xfire, as posting here is just more food for idiots wich i don't actually care about, unless asked to post or major, whatever

as you can see, i made the melee a left handed attack, but lone warrior told me uneven 'phant will make new anims. i made the FP arms last night, so we'll see how the anims will turn out
creditwhorz, it goes to Sarge (me), Caboose, GIHunter06, Mythril, Lone Warrior, bungie, and minor others that are providing placeholders tags (i.e the CMT grunt blood effect, gamma would send me others, or lone).
if there are any halo 3 textures in there, either mimiced or literally screencapped, then thank Caboose for it, his gamertag is ultimtehero, he got a 360, i don't, i also have to thank him for several texture tricks i couldn't have figured out without him, he's truly a master with photoshop.
I will be broadcasting the gameplay one of these days, depending on when i get an updated AI placement from lone warrior.
even though some of the team members here are preferring stock tags, i will still try to push through that we need custom, newer, stuff. H3 flood human is ingame, flood elite is the h2 elite flood

I'm still fiddling out how the blur on the visor looks the best in this context, there are no 'good' values, just values that feel right and are still comfortable to aim through

first pic has no blur, second has a blur that felt good, only indoors... so i'll see what i can do

Newb, you sound like a prick. Knock it off. I can't read one post of yours without seeing something you'd see at Modacity, which on its own is a gang community. Please leave your trash posts out of here.

So you want us to give positive crit on something that sucks right? The entire level's bitmaps and crap totally clash. I know it's a WIP, but why show it if you know it's going to get crit you don't even want. If you have nothing worth showing, then don't show it. You've turned into someone looking for glory instead of someone doing this for fun.

-Cliffs needs to be better UVWed (or whatever).
-Grass is too big and blurry. I don't care if you used a normal bitmap, but please fix it.
-The structure looks cool, but like I said it clashes with everything else.

Also, the detail map on grass looks like crap, find a new one on http://cgtextures.com/ and make it tile, and the ferns look ok. Use some highres static mesh's for static grass instead/more. Also if its unwrapped the cliffs wouldn't look so messy and uv fugly. I know its just a wip, im just giving out some suggestions.

Its perfectly reasonable. Theres a red and blue team icons on the HUD for multiplayer, in the singleplayer HUD.
