As I said before, I'm reserving judgement till beta day. There are many ways the jetpack could be implented in the game, and focusing on one theory and bashing it isn't going to help anyone.
This isn't the first time we've seen jetpacks. In Halo 2 you fight two jetpack Heretic elites, and in Halo 3 you fight jet pack Brutes. And I would say the jetpacks in Halo Reach isn't about pressing a button and flying wherever. I would imagine it's similar to the Grav Lift equipment from Halo 3. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see it in action, because right now, we have no idea how the jetpack works.
Looking nice! I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I'm really excited about this.
Your not the first to say this community is screwed up, and you won't certainly be the last.
Mysterion, I have played quite a lot of your AI maps-they are probably some of the best out there-and I would like to thank you for your contribution. MP maps are fun but sometimes there's no one to play them with, so It's nice to have a alternative.
Actually, It's not a bad idea. The model doesn't have to be to scale, but It would be epic fighting on the Titanic on iconic places like the deck or the Grand Staircase. It could make for some very cool stategic warfare. This idea shouldn't be tossed down the drain straight away.
This isn't about how your super amazing covenant campaign inspired this Flood campaign, so you should be getting all this credit.
Sorry. I was just being a bit weird.
Anyhow, yes. Show me a video. All these weapon tags mean nothing to someone who's here for the gameplay...and the actual game. :)
People need to stop trying to make comedy which fails in comparison to Red Vs Blue and try some drama. This is what Halo Machinima is sorely missing. It's a shame because drama would be so easy to convery in Halo, but apparantly people need to make "Yellow Versus Green" movies and all that.
If you don't want to do drama, fine, but try something different. Something that will set your movie above others.
Okay, thank you everyone for the help!
Thanks, it works now :D
I have another question. Every time I try to add a tag(In this case, a character) it says that it could not import one of the selected tags, and that I should contact the nearest Bungie programmer. Can I fix this?
Hi, I waited and Sapien closed automaticlly. This is my new debug message.

EDIT: I run Sapian, and loaded Sidewinder. I waited a while, for Sapian to become responsive, and I haeard the sounds and ambiance of Sidewinder. However, I could not see the level at all. Does anyone have a reason to this? Thank you. Edited by Eden on Oct 1, 2009 at 08:15 PM
I did what you said, but Sapian was still unresponsive. Here is the new debug message.

Your completely correct, K I D. Let's play a game that can be enjoyable but isn't a good game. You still have fun with the game? That must be because it isn't that good. Anyway.
Halo CE may not be the flourishing community it once was, but It is still a blast to play. Even on your own. No game dies. They just trip over.
So how would I go about fixing this? This is my first time using HEK.
Thank you for the reply! Unfortuantly, it still doesn't load. I think it may have something to do with compatibility, which I have changed because when I searched my problem, that was one of the posts. Currently the compatibility is as follows:
Compatibility Mode: Windows 95, and the Display Mode is "Display In 256 Colors"
Everything else is unticked.
Hello, everyone.
I've been trying to get the Multiplayer map "Timberland" to load on Sapien. I've used HEK plus, and the scenario is now in the pop up box that appears when you double click on Sapien. When I try and run Timberland however, a few box's appear with words like "Hirachory View" and I have to use Task Manager to close. I check the debug, and here is the last paragraph.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, you released the map. That's something. And with the added deadline on getting it out around the same time of ODST it's obviously not as polished as it could be. Just update on what everyone's feedback is, and you'll have one epic game.
It'd be cool if when your taking damage, your visor would slowly become more green and yellow. Kind of like how in games like Call Of Duty and ODST the screen gets redder as you take damage.
Creating a map is not as simple as you think it is.
What's all this fuss about? This is a Flood modification, not Halo 3.
Why don't you be original, and do a Blood Gulch mod?
