There's interesting backstory in some. you wil read everything... =p i dont think its a bad idea to make a cutsene of all the people in the main credits, but i think you should make it interesting, not like credits at the end of a movie, altho u could do then when u finish :) make it like it would cam ofer your name , then cam over whatr you did, for me e.g: cam over my name, cam over the models i made... and so on, if your an acter, cam over your name, cam over a good part of your act, things like that to make it interesting.

I think it's pretty stupid not to use much Halo music, it gives Halo the feel it has and changing the soundtrack will make it lose some of it's flair.

Your human campaign is going to be like Metropolis in Halo 2? thats kinda the feel i was thinking of, you know like a partly destroyed city under siege, but there is still some resistance. and i guess we can put the credits in the readme, but i would really like to put the credit cutscene at the end of the campaign

what I think is that we make them not skippable at the start of each mission, and also please do include some halo music cus without it it won't seem haloish that much anymore and also if you are gonna put some halo music in please put prepare to drop in that would make me very happy

If it's at the end and not skippable, I would probably just press ~ and type quit.

I'm not sure you can stop the "quit" command...it's a console command, not a devmode command.

But do we really need it? I mean, it seems kinda odd...it's not really that needed to let everyone know...they could just read the thread/readme.

... If you can, could you make the beginning cutscene skippable? It is a pain in the rear end having to watch a 30 second cutscene over and over because you die before a checkpoint. I keep doing that on Legendary, for the original campaign. Edited by Vlad on Jan 17, 2009 at 06:51 PM

Save a totally unsafe checkpoint directly after the cutscene. Problem solved.

A medical pelican... Painted white... With a red cross on it... That's where I stopped reading.
Why not jsut use a regular pelican but with medics riding in it?

I'm not sure you understand, a WHITE pelican with a RED cross on it sounds stupid, and a waste of space.

By then, the Covenant would kill all the survivors, meaning that there's no purpose for a medical Pelican. White is easier to see, anyway.

but every story has a little bit of sad in it, you could make it so ( not sure if this is how it goes but) make it so they take all 3 boddies back, and like then in the peil they revive him or something, like the bullet missed his brain, or hit his helmit and only knocked him out, and he woke up in the hele, somethhing like that to put u at the edge thinking its all sad, then they all live and its a happy ending, altho we need to now plan what happens arfter this. You do realise that to follow commander's script, one would have to animate the marines to do all that?
