Windows 7 works well. I'm running it right now, and I've been running it for quite a while now. No problems. As for your problems, I'm running CE in no compatibility. Same for Sapien.

You should have done an upgrade, instead of a fresh install. There is a way to hack the installer to allow an upgrade from XP, but I was using 7077 when I upgraded to 7100, so it worked fine.
