Really everything, at first I had thought it might've been the beta rig because MY thumb on the plasma pistol was messed up, then I just remembered those are the old animations and the newer one is using the retail rig and is better.

Speaking of which:
Try to ignore the odd specular, was just messing around. Origin is subject to change I guess.

did jesse send you the textures?because if so thats the failed bitmap I sent to him,oh and its not blue ingame because of jesse's horrible shadering

Yeah, then I pretty much just put it in the origin I already had and screwed around with specular a bit. Didn't bother to make it look very pretty, you can even see a white line going down the middle of the display.

I think this is coming along really well. Keep up the good work! I know, I'm just some nobody that started posting, but I really like the work that's being put into this map. (Can't wait to drive the Elephant :D)

I'd suggest one at each end of the map, or maybe one near the rockets. There could be one by the Banshee, too. There are a few good spots for one/a few.

Turrets would hardly matter in gameplay unless you can get it to be detachable. No one uses it mounted in Halo 3.

@ bo i dont like using them detatched... also jesse you could put a turret at the rocket launcher place in the gap behind it. and put another by banshee spawn

We have, the last reload doesn't show, and if i don't put "shotgun" the last reload shows ok, but it won't pump which is how i am leaving it until this can be fixed.

Doesn't chamber the last round. It goes halfway, then cuts to the pumping animation.

its the animation itself. in halo 1, shotgun reloads are so that the enter animation includes a reload, and all the reloads after that are set in a fashion so that the first frame is with the hand at the reload port, and the animation shows the hand moving off screen then coming back up and putting a new shell in, and ends with the hand still up there

broke made the reload vice versa, with the first frame being the hand down, and the animation showing the hand moving a bullet in and taking hand away, ending with the hand off screen again.

I would fix it, but I don't know how to import 2 reloads onto the same scene and removing the first half of one and the second half of other.

LOL, my new V3 version looks way better then that, there is already a beta of it.

Now that I've perfected many of the weapons I'm focusing on better models/textures/shaders/effects. Adding H3 Elephants was a hassle, not like they will ever move but it helps balance out the CTF layout.

Funny thing is, I prefer the BSP I'm using to the one you released.

Stuctures near the banshee spawn have no collision for projectiles.

There are alot of phantom BSPs about the whole map. Rocket launcher spawn has one huge one.

The new version has better textures. I was trying different textures at first but didn't really get what I wanted. The Remix part is more a reference to the mixed weapon set, sampling from the different Halos.


I see you have an Elephant already but it seems lacking in the detail department. Not sure if it would help or not but I have a pretty decent H3 model if you need it. Sure, anyone with the right tools can get it, but I had to flip far to many polys and restore some UVs to fix it up.

EDIT: Looking again your Elephant isn't terrible or anything. Just a few of the textures are off. With your file-size issue, its probably best left alone.

Another (probably obvious) thought, couldn't you add some extra seats onto the Elephant for other passengers?

Maybe you could script it, but rather than it being the melee button, it could be the flashlight button. It would destroy the original turret, but it could load the player into a different vehicle (which wouldn't be created until the player presses flashlight key), which would allow you to move around? Just an idea.

Needs decent animations and not the flamethrowers h1 ones.
