if you want the missle pod to be 3rd person just activate your 3rd person cam when u pick it up. easy as that.

or use the missle pod the way it should be through your own eyes. (unlike halo 3 where y look through the eyes of a ghost a couple feet behind and above you) Aren't we going for realism here. Let's fix halo 3's issues in halo CE.

also, the map itself will probably be protected, but we're going to release almost all the tags separately. such as all the vehicles. most weapons, and of course, the new BSP.

Why would it be a final wish if you leave anyway? I fail to understand the need to protect it anyway.

Let's not turn this into a discussion about map protection. You know that we aren't obligated to release the map, and we wish to respect the wishes of several animators who wish that their tags remain private. We know that you're fully capable of ripping this map (heh :P), but we can at least say we tried, in order to appease the creators of several tags. If you don't wish to respect them, we don't have to release.

tags are being released anyway. No need to ask about why it might be protected. As stated before, it is a social experiment of some kind.

Really I am trying to help make sandtrap look a ton better with the weapons and bipeds then the last version, also vehicles are iffy, they look fine atm.

So, you're saying the Gravity Hammer doesn't work? I found a map a couple months ago, it used a gravity hammer that was pretty fun. http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3441 Gravity Hammer is my favorite. And, ELEPHENT! YEAH!! is the map released yet?

Who said it didn't, worked fine when I tried it...
Hammer in that map is pretty bad compared to the one in Sandtrap.
No, it's not released, if you can read at all you'd know that.

holy crap that looks better than the halo 3 hogs oh and for the bipeds may i suggest a rustyer blue or at least not as shiny. remember that they dont put a fresh coat of paint on each day

sorry, i didn't read through all 8 pages. was just hoping it was, it was my favorite map on H3. cant wait, and, I have a suggestion. On H3, I would always go into Forge, and place a telepoter in a hidden spot (on top of one of the dunes around the edge) and it would lead on top of the claw thing (where the credits are) for an awesome sniping spot. until someone through a plasma grenade at me!

Do you know who made those shaders? Or even bother to check the bipeds release who did it? And HOW long ago I did them? Really now?

I got new special ones. Also you might aswell say that about halo 3 mp, spartans always have a fresh coat with small scratches :/

Or not even that. Just put a movement penalty on him. Do I really need to show you where it is?

Go to the .weapon tag.

Go to the small division where it says "movement."

Make sure the movement penalty is set to always.

Make forward penalty pretty high.

Make backward penalty pretty high.


There you go.
