The thing with the BSP is, i'm waiting for crimson shadow to log on xfire so i can send the new BSP model. Once he gets lightmaps done i can check the UVs for myself and if they're good, we can move on to fixing the model itself.

Just don't make a crappy one.

No you can't just add the shaders from snowtrap. It still needs new lightmaps, and the UVs won't fit.

i have the map model in 3ds lol.

i found out how inferno did his stuff for his shaders due to my ripping skills i promised i wouldnt use anymore.

im just modding the ground in 3ds... and some other things possibly

1) Ripping is not a skill, even a caveman could do it.

2) 3ds format loses all material IDs so you're screwed anyway.

3) Why would you need to "rip" Inferno's BSP if it was released.

4) having the map in 3ds makes no difference, you still need to edit the UVs, make your lightmaps and make the shaders more compatible.

That's IF you want a decent snowtrap map.

If you just piece everything together as-is, all you will get is a really bright map with terrible texture tiling, and inconformant UVs. In short, you will get a noob map.

2) theres a thing called firescyths post bsp script then it puts all materials in a scene from there you gotta make them in right order.
3) it was protected :P and i wanted to know how he did dees cubemap test two thingy turns out he tiled a single texture for snow a milion times lol. and the ice is three or 4 colors of a square put together...
4) i know i need to edit uvw's but i immport it with unwraps so :D

and ill fix the bad uvw's :P thats ez for me more then half the time

It's called Halo Custom Edition and there for its inferior 1999 engine wont do most of the cool stuff the 2007 engine does.

1. Every H3 weapons will be included?
2. is there a way to put an image alongside with the "Double kill" message, I mean the double kill medal ya know, but also with the killin spree, kiltacular, triple kill

don't you think that would be a little to powerful?

especially if the player is walking in first person with no speed difference, and loaded with 8 rockets, it would seem that the rocket launcher i useless compared to that.

Making the player move slower when holding the missile pod is an easy task. However, why would we make it a vehicle? That completely defeats the purpose of the FP animations.

@ AlwinRoth

It's possible to make the player move slower while holding a weapon, and Jesse is probably going to make this weapon a single use weapon.

Doesn't work that way. Besides, I think the FP animations look better than the 3P animations.

I hope you people realize that if t were a vehicle, the person "driving" the missile pod can run over people...

And other drivers trying to run over the person with the missile pod... well...

It's like a mongoose colliding with a scorpion:

The guy in the missile pod will likely flip through the air and look awkward.

To make him walk slow, we just need a continuous damage effect with a certain amount of stun.

We can't afford to add anymore vehicles, were already over the 6 vehicle limit, and theres one more coming in hot.
