What's wrong with virtual girls? They're exactly like normal girls, except you don't have to listen to them talk about their problems, or pay to take them out on dates, or buy them presents, or hear her complain about your obsession with video games, or have her bug you to spend time with her, or hear her complain that you're not romantic enough, or that you don't love her, etc, etc. They sound pretty good to me :P

well this thread has certainly taken a turn for the worst

Ok after watching the vidoc and finally hearing Emile talk am I the only one who thinks he's black. Also I think its pretty obvious that Noble 6 will end up all alone at the end as the lone Noble survivor right before Reach is glassed. Who do you guys think dies first in Noble team? I say Emile because he seems to take the most risks.

oh by the way, in one of the halo: reach trailers (the one where you see dog tags), you can see part of emile on the screen in which he is laying on the ground while doing nothing as the elites charge in to attack noble team... it might be that he is majorly injured or killed...

You fail to see that the Spartans from Noble team have survived insurmountable odds.

Carter, Jun, and Emile were 3 of 300 survivors from Alpha Company. It would take immense skill, teamwork, and determination to do that, especially with their cheap and underpowered equipment. I bet the operations that they participates in are like cake to them compared to their experiences fighting that mission against the covenant.

Kat and Six was taken out of her suicidal mission and put into Noble team undoubtedly for their skill and determination. Six was used as an officer's 'private grim reaper'. Six was commented as making 'militia groups disappear'.

Jorge is a Spartan II, needless to say that he could probably take on an army of covenant before showing any signs of stress or tiredness.

All of these traits and people combine to form Noble Team, the lethal and efficient group that we know of today. I would say that they could have pretty damn well changed the war had they been given the chance.

Spartan III's were on Reach if you read all of the books you will notice that. (i dint read i had audio books. i cheated) because most spartan II's were dead hell when reach came around there were only like 15 spartan II's. Spartan III's are younger and not even qualified to be like a spartan II. Spartan II's were genticaly enhanced. Spartan III's were not there fore they are not super human. they can't flip tanks.

Bungie has stated that game canon > book canon.

Think about it. It would make sense for at least ONE team of SIII's to be on Reach, considering the fact that Reach was one of the largest UNSC-controlled planets, and that most of their battle resources (soldiers/marines, weapons, vehicles, etc.) were deployed from Reach. Now, I don't know about you, but I would rather trust a time-tested group of Spartans, either II's or III's, to defend that sort of planet rather than standard marines and soldiers.

The plot that have the most interesting developmtny is Halo 1, damn the first time I saw the flood I nearly scream hahaha when little it scared me when playin xD

You can say the same for the rest of the series.

You have Spartan 2. You blow up some covenant, blow up some flood, blow up halo. End of game.
You have spartan 2 again. Covenant invade earth. Covenant retreat. You find more flood. You find another halo. You blow some more crap up. End of game.
Again you have spartan 2. You blow up crap on earth, blow up crap on the ark, blow up another halo. end of story.

But thats not all to the story is it? Its choppy and leaves out tons of details. That's how you're looking at Halo Reach right now. Its not gonna be "Oh you blow up crap then you die".
