Why would you think that a spartan wouldn't do the things you listed. Spartans are headstrong and make do with the situation. Everybody in their right mind would aim for the head. You ever read contact harvest? Sgt. Johnson stole a crate of grenades and had his squad spam away, and they were victorious.

The radiation from the Plamsa Grenades gave him the Boren's Syndrome, this gave him immunity against the Flood Strain, but I think it's not the exact truth.

I heard it exploded behind him and injured his spine in a way where the flood couldn't control him because that's where the flood infections go first.

It's a game , they can pull anything out of their rectums and present it as part of the Halo series. They die because Reach gets turned into a crystal ball which eereily portrays the future of humanity. It's kind of obvious that even the Mastercheif would be killed if the whole covenant fleet arrived and glassed the place he was in. As for the storyline , forget it, they've gone off the deep end since the second game.

I played the first halo when I was like 10, bought myself a xbox and good ol used copy of Halo 1. It was the best thing in video games I had ever played, I was used to playing games like mario.

When I got to 343 GS, I was like :O the entire time and a bit freaked out. I got lost down inside the tunnels, haha.

That's the one thing I hate about that level: all the rooms look the same. It doesn't really enduce fear, and is just a lazy job on bungie's part tbh.

Tons of other planets were glassed too buddy and in the books more than 6 spartans die on Reach. Get over it. Once again. Game canon is separate from book canon. Bungie invented Halo. They can do whatever they want with the games.

I do agree with you that Reach may lack any plot twists because we already know the outcome but it can't be helped because its a prequel I still think it'll be a good game though.

Each game has it's own distinct differences and things people find it good

Halo 1: It's new, fun, classic, and have a good story line...

Halo 2: Able to play online with other people (first matchmaking in the halo series), new maps, the ability to dual wield weapons, and board vehicles! First game to have emblems, and to play as a elite/Arbiter. New enemies such as the brute, drones, and a first peek of a prophet. Get to see the covenant "home world", High charity. Able to kill a prophet...Flood are more intelligent... in which they are able to use/board vehicles :O... and that there are no more shield health bars. You are a little bit faster and stronger... First appearances of Lord Hood, Miranda keyes (OMG CAPTAIN KEYES AHS A DAUGHTER?! I WONDER WHO"S HER MOTHA? (maybe dr. halsey)), Grave mind, etc. more types of wep... new vehicles and the SCARAB!

Halo 3: Kind of the same as Halo 2... get to destroy a monitor, new intelligent flood, brutes your enemy while elite's your allies, more types of weapons, able to use equipment, new vehicles, first introduction of the Forge, more multiplayer options/gametypes, kind of good graphics, introducing man cannons... able to take videos/pic in theater mode... able to share it in your fileshare, and GRIFBALL (tahnk you roosterteeth :D) and more that i forgot.. :P

Halo 3 ODST: Get to play as a ODST, kind of like halo 3... new weapons... have new things such as visor mode/etc... no flood, get to see engineers and kill them :P, drones have energy shielding... new thing such as firefight... no multiplayer... and the good thing is that you can play the halo: reach multiplayer from it :P... get to play as johnson.... and yea...

Halo Reach: Get to play as a spartan 3... load outs... more forge options... more firefight options... more multiplayer maps/gametypes....a game that has previous halo maps... first appearance of space fighting... get to destroy covie ship/seraph... armor abilities... new vehicles... new weapons... able to change your campaign look by using your multiplayer look... get to change your firefight voice... first appearance of armor shops and credits... new appearance of people... assassinations... and that it is like halo 3... first game that let you play with a squad of spartans... first appearance of army personnel... better graphics/textures.... spartans and elites are no longer the same in which one may be stronger while the other is faster (note it is a example... may not be true)... and much much more...

So yea... but like all great things.. it will fall... It is your opinion and I will not question it... but i am not sure about others...

Also... Spartan 3 were made under the development of colonel ackerson.. while spartans 2 where made by halsey... spartan 3 were instructed by a spartan 2, kurt, and chief petty officer mendez... spartan 3 were meant to be cheap, efficient, and good... they may lack the strength of a spartan 2 or it's speed.. but they were efficient...and cheap... cheap enough for them to have more "participant" than a spartan 2.... they were sent on very deadly and dangerous missions that a normal spartan 2 might not do... in those missions they were to stop the covenant for a while being.... there are more things i want to say.. but i have limited time...

Oh... by the way... Halsey found out about the spartan 3s at the fall of reach... read the book :P

No, Halsey found out during Ghosts of Onyx, when she was en route with Kelly on her secret mission AFTER the events of First Strike, which was AFTER the events of Halo CE, which was AFTER the events of Fall of Reach.

And how exactly does that relate to my post? Of course I read that line. The fact that you found it relevant to post what you posted means you harbored some sort of ambiguity. Your smiley ":x" meant that it was something that irked you, which revealed some part of your motive towards your post. Your last line was the part in your post that tried to dissuade ODX and other people to reply to your irrelevant post.

After analyzing your post, I found it fitting to post my opinion that ODX was awesome, because your smiley irked me, similar to how Elefant's bold text irked you enough to post your post. Just because you had a line intended to dissuade me from posting, whether you meant it or not, doesn't mean that I can't post in response.
