take the cmt rips troll post that spammers use and replace cmt with zteam and put they don't release at the end and you got zteam after z sanctuary in a nut shell

They have eachother, and the fun part is doing to work to get it ingame and looking good. The map being done is boring. :p

Wow. I had a 25% chance in winning the legendary edition and I lost. Meh, at least there is still the possibility of winning the life size Spartan set. As for the footage that they shown tonight, it was mostly old and wasn't worth seeing.

Forklift with rocket propulsion? Add in some NOS would you? oh and the fork like the energy blade 'o' doom. Then it would be fit for the hog run.

The Covenant have anti-gravity on demand, they don't need forklifts. Also, everything is almost weightless in microgravity.

i made it through the whole level with the mongoose, dun know what your talking about. Its just when going down a slope, the warthog will inevitably go faster than any other vehicle.

Really, the reticles in Reach are drastically different from those in the past 3/4 (if you want to count ODST) games. I doubt they'd reuse one, the tank, for something so different and new.

Look at how damn low res it is and just how terrible everything looked.

And Bungie may have been known for shamelessly reusing animations (at least in the beta, I'm pretty sure most everything is completely made now :D) but reusing something like that from Halo 1 just seems very unlikely.

Halo reach uses all motion capture and animators tweaking them as they go. And maybe doing a few animations that are impossible to be motion capped. But pretty much all humanoid animations are mo-capped.

When the hell is everyone going to realize that most of the time when I say "animations" I'm talking about the first person animations?

They are not mo-capped. I don't think any game has their first person animations mo-capped.

They do, and lots of games have FP mo-capped. Mirror's edge, cod, stalker, bad company. Etc etc.

No, Reach does not have motion-captured first person animatons ffs.

What's your proof for the bolded ones, too? I'm not really too sure about Mirror's edge, it could very well be animated by hand though I'm not sure because the legs do look suspiciously realistic.

Call of Duty: OK, IMBrokeRU can easily replicate their animations, even a bit better than them and he's not even a professional. It's very likely they animate by hand in Maya. World at War, I know is not mo-capped first person either, nor are any of the other CoDs.

Stalker: I just searched a gameplay video of this. HELL. NO. I saw an origin and cried, saw a reload and cried. Definitely not mo-capped >_>

Bad Company: Doubting this one too, unless they're just SEVERELY edited by an animator (or more) to have that unique look and feel they have.

This is a 16 (maybe 17 now) year old. He is experienced perhaps up to 2-3 years. Look at what he can do. (Seriously, look at some of his other uploads. Those animations there are actually pretty old)
I'm pretty damn sure, an IW employee, a professional, who went to school for it+other things/etc etc, is very much capable of the same thing and much much more.

You have failed to prove me wrong again.
I ask you to prove me wrong and you advertise to me about some 16/17 year old that can do animations. Mo-cap is less expensive so even if they provide an even quality, I am sure they would go for mo-cap rather than paying an animator constantly. I am sure they would have some kind of animator that knows the bar bones enough to do some of the cinematic movements, such as jumping out of a 4 story building and the such.



Bad Company 2 uses a procedural animation system when also transitions between one animation to another in real-time. The loose feeling is probably from this since you never really see any shaky movements from the hands or most humanoid animations. Crysis had this effect as well since it relies on its animation interpolation and combining to do "realism".
