I CAN NOT WARN YOU ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS NOT TO RIP THE ENTIRE TAGSET RECURSIVELY. This may permantly damage your tagset. I also request that you do not make your own maps with the CMT_ prefix at the front. Why? We want to be remembered by the works we've done. While we're interested in what you will do with the tags (and more importantly, what you learn from them), we don't want to be mistaken for your work, nor should you want all your work be thought of as ours.

Enjoy these tags; more are on the way. Expect some of the source files to be coming as well.

It does not. This is just release #1; more will be coming from the things that we made.

A lot of stuff is in here, but some is not. I'm putting together the source files and tags for a lot of what I did for the mod separately with Dano; hence this release is devoid of the Elites, Brutes, Wraiths, and such. I believe that there are also plans to release some of the BSPs made for the mod. Don't worry, that stuff is coming in its own release in due time.

Hmm... I could use some tags. I'm desperately lacking them. It's because I don't want Covenant stuff in my project, and that potentially reduces my tag count to less than half. I know CMT has lots of tags, and even if I probably won't use the covenant ones(except for some, mainly the carbine), the human ones will be very useful.

Thanks, and if I do use a lot of them, you'll get much more thanks and credits.

And by the way, are the vehicle tags set up for boarding? If so you or anybody who knows could just distribute the boarding scripts. Although not all of us know about the markers, animations(I think...), etc. I've only got the wraith's boarding script.

Then I remembered school. And my life... which is private. *sigh*

Now we have some new Murphy's laws (of HCE mapping): "SPV2 - wasn't.", "Their tagset - isn't (anymore)", "Projects aimed for success always progress but never succeed", and "If you can make a map, SO CAN HE."

Is the Hawk included? I'll go check.

well when i opened it in 3ds max, it looked like an egg or a rock, and it seemed like it had flood spores in it. the textures look more metallic though.

It's a covenant drone. The model adds into Sapien just fine as a .scenery file, so since the animations and collision is intact (I hope), it shouldn't be too hard to reconstruct a new biped.

The animations for the Geist are corrupted when ripped, just like the Monitor and Scorpion tags.

It's not necessary to have them however, since the node structure is exactly the same as a sentinel.

But yes, it is a covenant drone that uses a sentinel familiar shield. It did not work out because of certain issues. That, and when I used the Sentinel animations, the model kind of collapsed itself.

Yet, if I spawned the biped and immediately open console, looked like how it did in max, so I can't say.

Rip it with that Halo Tag Converter (HTC), Masterz released it on Halomaps and Modacity. It supposedly rips animations and physics without problems. It works, I used it to rip the pelican physics when I had problems.

The debug text is an object_function error, not an animations error like you get with the monitor.
