you guys have got a real diy policy here, don't you.Even with rippers you'd rather give them the tools then to just have the people who know how to do it rip it for them, put it in a map and release
all I can say is....WOW

all I can say is....WOW That is how life is son. Don't think everything is going to be handed to you on a silver platter anytime you want. You have to WORK to get the things you want in life. In this case, you rip the tags one by one and find out what they are, then finally putting them all together to make a fully complete tag.

problem with that is... every tag has the same name... ugh this is so hard to explain. even when you look at the tag in gureilla the tags says like if I used the thing and typed in "skidrow" all the directory part has is "skidrow" and it would say that for projectile GBX model and so on and so fourth

Yea... that's kinda because the map used to be protected? You're gonna have to go through every bitmap, gbxmodel, and model_animations tag to determine what it is, and then re-tag everything.

So handing out information thats been released since before hceripper decided to tell everyone is "handing it to them on a silver platter"? Wow, I never knew that. I will keep that information for a later date. Oh wait. I never said I was doing it FOR him. I merely gave him a "tutorial" that has been released (just not told) to anyone way before Matt decided to release the information anyway. You have the knowledge, now go ahead and use it. It's like you going to school. A teacher hands you a book and expects you to do homework for his/her class. Obviously he/she isn't going to do the work for you, you read the book, and apply the knowledge you have learned from the book to do your homework. Edited by Codebrain on Apr 11, 2010 at 07:47 PM

Get max 8 Simpler to export stuff with, the newer exporters make up errors out of thin air, and randomly flip faces, so you have gaps in your model. Get max 8 and blitzkreig, it's the best.

If your working with halo, at least use the right software that it was built for.
