^SPV1 and the MP maps are just heroic and credible feats, not legendary. The people who play those maps probably wouldn't reach 70-90% of the total HCE players. As for SPV2, I'd assume 70-80% of HCE players would download and play it. Now that's legendary.

From what i saw so far when i did a quick scan in HEK+ it contains some characters ( omg an enforcer!!!!) ,vehicles, scenery, weapons... esentially a little bit of everthing for each file, but i have a quick question, when you guys say dont rip reclusivly does that mean dont rip everything in the map and to just rip the cmt folder?

I'm a little dissapointed that you didnt place anything in the brutes v2 folder besides the effects...

Basicly don't rip anything that overwrites your stock tags. Such as the globals.

Well... what if I backed up and deleted my entire tagset(although I spared a few) and replaced them with your tagset? Just a few tweaks and it works for me.

And would you mind releasing the maps? Because it would be such a huge waste to let them rot on your hard drives, or worse, your Recycle Bin. I suppose someone (or a team) could finish it...

Just so you guys know, I fixed up the animations for the Geist, it looks the way it was supposed to be.

Except, it doesn't have death animations, however since it acts like a sentinel when it dies, I just figured it would be easier. Yes I am lazy, I already know XD

Also I would like to note that this is my first 3rd person animation for bipeds, and I know it isn't good. I tried basing it off the Sentinels animations, so please, if you have any crit, I would like to know.

This is an unused enemy in the SPV2 campaign. (if ever released)

Its supposed to be a Covenant Drone of some sort, based on a sentinel.

I think it is supposed to be bigger to. i was going to say we can always use entity to get the actual one from h2 but. that would require alot of work

This one looks a bit nicer, he could just import the model and scale it up and export..

Kiwi would just like to take a moment to say something on the whole "Oh well, no reason to stick around/CE is dead."

If these people took a moment to think about the ramifications of what's going on, they'd realize that, if anything, this should breathe some new life into the community. When they just up and died, it would have an impact because the content they had would go down with them. Yes, we're gonna see quite a bit of bad mods made by fats with out an ounce of creative or technical skill in their body; but those who actually know what they're doing will look at what CMT did with the engine and either apply it in unique ways or build upon it in better ways then if CMT just kept it under lock and key.

In summary, if things go well, this will bring a bit of a revival to the CE community.

By the way, Masters, what's going to happen with all the maps? Any chance of releasing all of the SP maps as-is? Might as well. I'd hate to have put all that work into the mod and never actually release it. And what about MP maps? I'd like to release mine even if they're just classic. I also have a bunch of old CMT MP maps that were never released that I'd like to upload for the heck of it.

None of the SP maps are playable start to finish, and I'm not sure if I want to release them as is. Maybe over the summer I'll document them and release them with guides on how to dev your way through them, as well as update them with the most recent tags.

The MP maps are your maps, and I think they'll be much better as classic maps anyway, so I think you should do it. You can release your SP BSPs as well, I'm sure some people will find a way to enjoy them.

I'm willing to complete the SP section, as far as ai and scripting goes... (as you already know) so you may as well just release the maps.

Even broken, I think you should release the maps, open-sourced even. I'm sure I still have some mostly-playable older copies of some of the maps too. I put a lot of work into the mod, so I'd like to have it out there for people to enjoy or at least check out. Maybe someone else in the community can make use of the unfinished levels.

If we're releasing tags, might as well release everything else and people can check it out if they want. We've got nothing to lose by just putting it all out there.

I've actually wanted to play a30 for some time now. The only map I played was b30 and masterz forgot to script something so the entire map was messed up :(
