That don't really look flood-like to me, DEE. Add more deph, detail and floodlike organs on it.

Its a calcium deposit. So there are very little flood elements when it comes to calcium...

So, I'm almost done with the overlay for the flood gore, so, what blur level do you guys want? I mean, I can make it a strong blur on the outside of this outline or so, and make the inner part blur free, or i can make it a total screen blur effect, wich is from strong from the outside, to clearer to the inside, what effect and in what volume should i make it?



PS: Dibs on every FEAR thing I put in halo, it's so friggin awesome =P Hey, I'm gonna rig Alma now!!!

What needs to be clearer? the screenshot has a slight level of blur, it's WAY to clear to notice really in my opinion, I don't know if anyone else sees it blurred, but anyways, I don't really get the sentance anyways...

PS, the HUD never gets blurred, only the gameworld

Dude, because it's cool. You can either say you don't like it, or you do, but don't say that it makes no sense at all after the effort I made, as you could have said that before.

But anyways, please decide what you WANT in the campaign and what NOT,
as i'm getting tired of doing things that won't make the cut,
like the flood textures, we're getting an armored version, so these textures i made are useless now...

Wait a minute, so you are using the FEAR hud for the Flood. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, but am I the only one who thinks that is not very logical, and very unlike what one would expect for the flood.

Now don't flame me because I didn't say this earlier, or as if I am saying the Hud is bad; it isn't. In fact, I would say that you keep the radar for this mod. However, I thought that a new Hud, which looked more zombieish, was being made. I must have missed when people voted for the FEAR Hud; which page out of curiosity had people vote to use it?

No blur. None at all. I also agree, I do not approve of this HUD for the Flood campaign. If this is just a side project, please don't display it here, because it confuses us.

I used the FEAR hud as i worked on it for it apart from my other projects, and no, we havn't really finished the hud poll, so i'm not really doing anything wrong just yet, it's custom, maybe not the custom one we/they/you wanted, but we havn't gotten to anything else yet, and yea i'm still working on the overlay, but don't expect me magically come up with a totally zombi-ish flood out of nowhere, i'd need some info rather then just the poll to make me start working on it.

Oh those custom ones... they were never released, like a dozen other simelar attempts at making them wear more armor, i've seen alot of them and alot of them succeeding, noone released them though... plus the fact that i'm too lazy to do that makes me have no models at all lol, all depends on mythrill now for the campaign, or we could get the custom ones previously made *winkwink*

Might be random, but since there is currently being worked at it, maybe base it something like this?

Little to much elite armor lol. Maybe take some of the leg armor off and it would look better and make it more flood-ish.

It's not whether you like it or not, it's that it confuses people into thinking that it will be part of the topic. I myself think it's pretty good, but until we decide whether we want it for the campaign, please don't post it here. And I vote for a standard HUD.

I vote for a h2 hud that is floodified lol.

I also think i have a pretty good idea of what the h2 version floodified hud would look like lol.

1-2 problems with showing you lol. 1. I don't have it drawn out/photoshopped lol. 2. I think i might be able to link you to a video that might give a little graphical design on it/textures for it if i can find the vid.

EDIT: it's not really the hud but let me link u to the vid and the brown parts of the ui thats modded you could maybe make some of that design in the hud but make some of it transparent with some flood growth :)

Ok, can someone with a xbawx get me some reference material of the effect in halo 3?
Then I can start working on that.

Also, The flood have improved senses and muscles, like the uberhigh jump from the covenant flood, they don't jump that high naturally aswell as the human flood form, only in flood form the senses are stronger aswell as the muscles, that's why they berserk without weapon all the time.

So, my idea was, if we make a script that wakes on flashlight status, and put "Game_speed 0.5" or so, then we can recreate the slow motion effect like in the silent photographer.
The flood have increased abilities, so it makes sense, and it would be uber cool.
I'm too busy to write the script myself, as I'm not the quickest LISP scripter, so can anyone write that very simple script and post it here? Then I'll make a new map with that and the new gravemind hud for internal beta testing, aswell as the new textures for the old models.

Please write the script ASAP as it would be easier to show some beta screenshots of the maps so far =) Currently I'm using universal freeze and manually game_speed X, but that takes longer to make good shots, plus it's awesome for the trailer that I will have made by the end of this week =)

Also, I'm making a flood UI that fits this campaign, when the armored models are done then I'll reveal this UI as it's awesome, I promise =P
