Bo, why is it that you do this type of thing in every thread? There is more than one "vehicle specalist", you aren't the only one. You don't have to do everything vehicle related.

and anything i model always gets taged by mythril, idc what its for..........
he can give it a go at animateing, i rekon it wont be too bad, if it is a total disaster {which from what i seen it isnt} il see who els wants to do it, and whoever said they want a download link now, its barely done, theres no textures and everything is still being worked on.

The bsp for part 1 is basically done, for modelling, ther is minor detail needed to be added, and errors to be fixed.

the way the bsp has been modeled is different to orrigionally planed, but as you can see in some of the pictures mythril is about to post there is a allyway where you cant drive, i would like to be at the end of the ally way a AI sitting in a Gauss Hog scripted so when you get on the turrent he will start to drive to a set course, with you shooting of all enemy vehicles and monsters. All the way to the tunnel at the end of the highway.

please dont flame me YET because it is not done, if there is something that is really not in good shape, kindly post what it is and i will do my best to fix it up.

As you can see, we're going to be doing it quite low poly, relying on the textures a lot. Which reminds me, who's doing the textures?

theres some pics, not the best of renders i thaught myth would of posted, meh getting late...... il post more tomoro. of the ai bit. but in the 3rd pic if u just folow it, the start is bottom right ish (not done) and the end is like top right ish, left end is something random, not done, im gonna make it like a broken bridge fall into somewhere below where ul die if u fall, so the player cant get out, um yeah, i wont take crit in a bad way so please help me out, and its not done so....

It would be easier if you kept the edge of the sidewalk and the building walls the same distance apart. As in the walkways are the same length all the way through. And you need to be able to tell theres a building there and not all mashed up together.

Also its my job to do vehicles for this project >:V

For the street size go 3 Warthog lengths wide and 3 MC's wide for the sidewalks.

Love my specific measurements.

I think street size should be 2 scorpions in length.

So its like a 4 lane high way, with 2 lanes on each side.

Well if your looking a Turf it seems like the residential areas roads are a lot smaller.

A freind of mine is doing the textures, I don't know how far he is done with them i need to chack on him on how far he is. I havent seen him on yahoo or xfire in a while but i sure hope he is half way done.

as i said, its not done, im makeing the roads at the start 1 lane on each side (2 hogs touching eachother side by side) for 1 side, and another lane on the other (so its 4 hogs side by side) for the start big, when it goes into tha allyway its ment to be just a big open area and there will mabey be hard ais in there, no vehicle acess tho. then the end of the allyway is a 1 lane road (2 hogs side by side) then the highway is 1 scorp lenth way, oh and the sidewalk i will make it 3 mc side by side

im doing it now... do you guys rekon its long enough, im still working on the start, so that will turn out a little longer but help me out

In the script it was decided that the pelican would drop you off on top of a building in act 1

In Act 1 you land safely, so have it in the BSP for Act 1

idk i have made a rooftop nice for a landing, then there is a place for a ladder comeing down the wall :)

im not done yet tho, im gonna put railings on the roof to make it more real...

im on and off so i havent done much detail, im going again now so, il update you when i do some, il get some pics up

Can you just have it set so you have to climg down some strairs to get off the roof? that would make it look better.

ok 1) act 1 dont have boss to whgat im thinking, i think itl be good enough haveing to shoot out the back of a hog

and act 2 il model a parking lot or something. il take it as it comes
