That will make it a lot harder to do though but ok if you guys want go ahead and do it like isaid im working on all of the sounds and voice acting its all up to you guys for the BSP and everything else

meh I'd rather make it a entirely first person experience. When you are in third person you think "wow that looks cool" but in first person you would probably be more like "holy **** im about to be shot out of a spaceship!" :P

lol yeah.... oh btw i think we should have you really start on the citadel of quebac like on rpg beta 4 and 5 where we see you and the others walk in the drop pods and then simulate the drop i think that would be pretty nice and we dont have to make another bsp either, it could just be a room somewhere hidden like under the BSP or somewhere you cant see it

What's the citadel of quebac? And if it's a ship like I'm presuming it is, where are we going to get the model?

model the whole ship? if it's under the map you wont be able to see it in the sky. And yeah that would probably have to be a seperate BSP. Plus, it's more work :P You should just start out in the pod and have it simulate the drop.

E:sorry, i forgot to type a message here (thank you ODX for bringing it to my attention)
google refs for stop lights. these are an example, but what you made does not look like any stop light i have ever seen. somebody was modeling a stop light (on a previous page apparently) and asked for crit
my bad for the confusion lol
E2: i also use img tags instead of url tags for the images. give me a break, its been 2 weeks since i have gotten more than 4 hours of sleep at night

Where did you get those refs? anyways, I'm wondering now if I could get some refs from h2 or h3, so i can make them all "mombacy" as Exception said :P

and if i remember right, act 1, the pele lands safely, act 2 the pele CRASHES, and act 3, the drop pod .... so we gotta make the pele crash for act 2.......................

d40 recorded animation should work. The one with Foehammer I think, where it crashes.

I've been working on command lists and scarabs. Currently, it walks halfway to the first point, steps back once, and wobbles. Also, my shoot command never works, not just the scarab.

Any help?

The point to shoot needs to be at a point where either the AI can see it and is facing it, or that the command list might be f'ed up.

I could send you my Scarab AI tags, they do shoot, but maybe it's a problem on your end, I don't know.

Something feels off with this BSP...it feels more like some roads with buildings put there, not a city road. It's probably because of the gaps between the buildings.

Still, I have to wait til tomorrow to look through outskirts and see how Bungie did it. Stupid cappedness

Yeah in outskirts they made some huge buildings that encircled the level so of felt more confined, but if you can do that it will look good :D

Um... Gamma got it right with the buildings. I made a stoplight, Exception made buildings, Mythril made roads for the buildings, people thought we were dead,I nearly lost all my personal files from a virus :\ ... Um, thats about it :P

ok i just wanted to know but i think we need to take longer on going about doing this i think we need to work on this longer i really want this to go well. I am working on a HUD for the campaign also. you will see it when i am done.
