It would be easier as animated scenery, but we couldn't show the inside easily. However, if we also put a piece on the ground, we could switch to that view as well. If we made it a vehicle, that would require a whole lot more work than a simple piece of scenery.

So when did we decide to put HEV's into the campaign? Im just wondering im not saying we dont need them or i dont want them i am just wondering who brought up the idea of HEV's?

pretty sweet but i dont really think we need to do all of that all i think we need ot do is simulate the drop pod free falling all we really need to do is have the camera shake while i throw in some sounds of the drop pod sounding like it is freefalling and boom there is the cutscene

i thaught, might be hard tho, make the drop pod fall as fast as a mc, then, make u and the pod start same places, and then it falls with u in it, idn might not work, but its not a bad idea :)

It would be easier with the simulator. We should stick to that, and use the animated scenery for the cutscene of the HEV pods dropping.

All you would need to do is make it animated scenery. Use the cutscene camera to follow the HEV as though you were inside of it. You should be able to understand the rest.

But we don't need animated scenery, if we just make a normal scenery piece, stick it on the ground, stick you in it, and leave it in first person. Shake the camera around, play sounds, whatever. If you wanted a 3rd person cutscene, then, yes, the animated scenery would work best.
