The TIE Mauler may make an appearance, yes.

CIS (When we get there) will probably have a B1 Battle Droid... Maybe a Super Battle Droid. I don't know. It's a ways off still.

So is there a possible release date? And I'm still wondering if I can join the SWMT.

No release date. We aren't going to have a release date until everything is perfect instead of having a date now and rush to get everything finished. As for you getting on the team what type of things can you do?

Well I can't do much of anything related to mapmaking but I'm watching thousands of vids.
As for other things (other than mapmaking) I can beta-test, critique it a little bit. Say what I like and don't like. I sound like a shmuck i know. but yea i am serisly working on the mapmaking thing. as in, BIG TIME

On-topic: Right, well if I ever get around to it, I'll try and model a Super Battle Droid, or Droideka.
Actually, about Droideka's, how do you plan on getting the shield to work? Or you just gonna leave Droideka's out?

At the moment, no Droidekas. Maybe if we ever do a Clone Wars SP, but I'm trying not to be overly ambitious here.

And only 15 pages. However,t this is probably the most long-lived topic out there that hasn't been pused to the back of the forum. (Page-wise)

I tried Banshee physics, but it started to whine at me about mismatching node counts, so I ran physics through Tool and replaced them.
It worked with that ATV I made for Yoyorast Island V2...

Hell, Advance, when I get back to my computer later, would you mind just redoing the X-Wing and TIE with the latest models. I'm too busy modeling that map I was showing you guys to focus on anything else, really.
EDIT: Wait, weren't you supposed to be making everything for this anyway? I gave you the models a while back... =V

Sire;
This "rebellion" which we had thought so little of has become more of a threat than we had thought.
As you know, the Death Star had located and attacked the Rebel base. However, I am sorry to say that a small force of 32 Rebel starfighters penetrated our defenses and managed to exploit a flaw in the design of the Death Star. This force evaded our TIE and turret defenses and launched a proton torpedo into a ventilation shaft, destroying the main reactor.
About a quarter of my men made it to safety, but the other 3/4 of the 501st perished in the explosion. Lord Vader is MIA; I do not think he died, as well. Grand Moff Tarkin and his advisers, however, are confirmed KIA.
I do have some good news. Our troops have almost finished purging the planet of Rebellion forces. The mastermind of the attack, a rebel named "Dodonna", has been taken prisoner.
The rebel forces have now been reduced to a single temple. Scout Troopers are scouting the area now, and an invasion force will have landed within the hour.
***FORWARDED IMAGE FOLLOWS***

Please excuse the poor quality, sire, as the local weather is interfering with the Scout team's equipment.

The structures look interesting but I thought there was going to be a new bsp. Not an edited Blood Gulch. We'll talk on Xfire, I'm willing to model the terrain.

It's not an edited BG. Entirely new terrain job, 100% plane modeled and several times more detailed while still conserving the gameplay. It's taking me a VERY long time to model, I'm taking it bit by bit. Another image will follow shortly, once I finish a tiny section of BSP.

It's like Blood Gulch, but remember, Yavin is mostly forest, with some debris as well, so there won't be as clear of a line of sight. To make up for it, I made one of BG's harder to get to sniping locations easier to access.
Also, remember that while it wasn't IMPOSSIBLE, teleporting people and objects isn't something that was very common in the Star Wars universe, especially at about the time of the Battle of Yavin.
Also, the Rebels have a bigger base than the Imperials (Though both sides have the same number of vehicles). While the Imperials get a landing transport as a base, the Rebels get a temple.
There may be other new factors at play as well, including possibly a new (but rare) hazard, but I'll leave those a mystery.

For the most part, the maps are all close to being finished in the modeling-wise. There may be a new video coming up in the near future for Arc Hammer and Yavin IV.

Actually a good idea though.
We need more close-quarters maps to balance our map's payload. Currently we have:
1 Close Quarters map (Tantive IV, I don't really count Arc Hammer because of the open sight lines and the power weapon being the sniper rifle)
2 Medium maps (Arc Hammer, Yavin IV)
2 Large maps (Hoth, Endor, even though Endor is a medium-large map).

A Sarlacc pit would be a good close-quarters map with lots of choke points at key areas.
I'll have to think about it.

Also, the first post has been update for slight better organization and now contains a little bit of background info and gameplay tidbits about each confirmed map.
