One for every Halo 1 weapon.
and where you going to just use one stock set of stormtroopers for every map or change them up, same question with rebel bipeds?
We're going to try to change them up. ATM, we only have one Stormie biped ingame, but we're going to make, for instance, a Snowtrooper for Hoth, Scout Troopers (and forest camo for Rebels) on Endor, etc.
And I was just wondering were you going to release each map as you made it, or you going to instead wait to release them together in a pack?
Our maps will be undergoing polish until we have 3-5 or so we're ready to release, and then we will upload them all the same week.


Can we make the speed bike that takes the place of ghost for the forest one :V?

A lot faster Ghost, yes...

I was already planning on it.
AND BEFORE YOU START TO MODEL ANYTHING, I ALREADY AM WORKING ON THE FOREST LEVEL. >.<

Lol for the forest camo rebels you should add some leaves to the model so it's kind of like a ghillie suit. Yeah I know its non-canon but it would be kickass.

Hopefully. Again, we will see how this pans out. I have a mod of A10 which I Star Wars-ized, I should have done B30.
Also, is there any chance that you would consider making one of the space battle maps from Battle Front 2, obviously toned down for what is actually in the map, but at least the same basic design,
We may make a private one to test the concept, but we are more than likely NOT going to make one for the public (I know, I know, we're mean.). We WILL, however, open-source the space vehicles and other things you would need to make a space map. In fact, the only thing we won't provide (More than likely) would be a BSP.
and what are the other current maps that you working as I know you have the Tantive IV, Hoth, and Hangar Bay in production but you mention upwards of 5 maps.
Tantive IV (Ingame)-Jay2645
Arc Hammer (Ingame)-Nexus Halo
Endor (Modeling)-Jay2645
Tatooine (Concept)-??? (Probably Jay2645)
Hoth (Concept)-Nexus Halo
Coruscant? (Modeling)-Jay2645

So wait, can you destroy the tie fighters that are sitting in the hangar bay, because that would be awesome. Also, I was wondering will you be doing any of the Clone or Driod stuff?

As for the Clone Wars: Possibly. I only have 1 Clone Wars-era model done (First vehicle I ever got ingame, ARC-170), so it could still be a while off.

Also, I just thought of a concept for a multiplayer lightsaber which WORKS.
I need your opinions on it. Should I place lightsabers in multiplayer or not? Yay or nay?

Well, if you actually think that you can get lightsabers working in multiplayer I would say go for it, but I would focus more on just getting a set of maps out first. After you actually have something done then I would go experiment with lightsabers. Are you guys doing betas for any of the maps by any chance?

But they wouldn't fall from the ceiling or anything like that. It'd have to be a vehicle, which we will do at some point, but ATM, I don't want to bother with it.

And I have a general idea for how to get the lightsaber to work, now I need to implement it.

Also, I should note, to clear some things up at Modacity: The textures you see in the screenshot are from Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. There will be similar, handmade textures in the final product, those were for basic UVWing and I never got around to changing them, since I never really finished UVWing. I didn't even realize I never changed them.
To be clear:
Mine:
Floor
Elevator
TIE Racks
Ceiling
Catwalk
Anything that ISN'T BSP.

In fact, a lot of it IS mine, it's really just the walls from JKA.

Sorry for the mix-up.
Advancebo, can you quote that last paragraph and transplant it over to Modacity for me? Thanks.

No release date. We aren't going to have a release date until everything is perfect instead of having a date now and rush to get everything finished. As for you getting on the team what type of things can you do?

Work is still being made on the mod, though we've hit a small impediment to our progress.
It's a little thing called the Halo Wars demo, and probably the game when it comes out...

Hoth hasn't been started because I fail at getting a copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2 but Jay has created some pretty cool stuff. When he's ready he'll post renders.

UVWs need tweaking still, notably on the side.

But that's not all we've been working on, either...
Expect a reimagining of one of the maps of the Halo saga, Star Wars-style.
This isn't a simple mod of a pre-existing map, no. Every vertex, polygon, and edge will be modeled from the ground up.
What map it will be will remain a mystery...

Well I haven't given up my quest for a Battlefront. I'll get one. I can honestly say it's easier to run around a map that your are modeling personally than screenshots. That's what I did with the Arc_Hammer. Thanks anyways.

Clone Wars will be done after we get a few (whatever they call the Rebels vs Empire) maps done.
