Xfire, without any official warning of an impending shutdown, has suddenly called it quits on every aspect of Xfire that we ever cared about. :(

We have decided to sunset the Xfire Client and the social site so we can focus our efforts on The Xfire Tournament Platform. This hasn’t been an easy decision. We have a lot of loyal users and we know many of you will be disappointed by the loss of the client and community. But we feel that we are well positioned to make a significant impact in bringing the exhilaration of esports from the pros to the masses, and we can’t do that effectively while also maintaining the client and social website.



If you want to download your stuff like your images and videos u can get them from Xfire you can login at the bottom of the page at http://social.xfire.com/



If u guyz know a good alternative let us know!

Is it just me, or does it not require any kind of password to download your stuff? I know the screenshots are public anyway, but still. I can go find someones' screenshots and claim them as my own :o

about time, xfire has always been terrible.

Yeah, it was reeeally going downhill these past few years. 2.0 sucked IMO, and when they separated the classic and new one, (in a way, a good thing) it made it tougher to use the older one. GTA V wasn't supported for the client, I think.
