Yeah, I gave up on any hopes of recovering files that way. Fortunately, it seems that screenshots also save to your computer (C:\ProgramData\Xfire\screenshots), so at least I can save those.

Sure there's server load to consider, but I can't help but reckon there were a bit more than 14,000 people active on Xfire when it was a thing.

Well, there wasn't 14,000+ people all downloading every one of their pictures and videos. Having all of them do so at once would probably make the site very, very slow.

The cancer began when Titan Gaming bought Xfire. Xfire has been dead from the minute the forums shut down. RIP

I remember back when everyone on the Xfire forums first started advocating moving to Evolve. But Evolve is kind of stupid, just use Steam. And for god's sake don't use Raptr. Raptr is the devil. And Skype is for normies

evolve is pretty sweet when all the halo online players arent causing it to crash constantly. it kinda mixes tunngle and xfire together. i use it quite a bit to contact people to play a few rounds of ce
