Looks great, keep up the good work.

No, that falcon HUD uses the original bitmap.
Quote: --- Original message by: CaptainAltheros Try messing with patterns, from what I know that a horizontal pattern is recognize as an animated sprite while a vertical pattern isn't.
And... that worked!
I guess you can have the treasure hidden inside those pyramids?
So from the looks of it, Halo can have GIF's?
I went through all the sprite index bitmaps on the original texture (0-11), and could only find one bitmap that showed the 4 reload dots. This leads me to believe that Halo is somehow capable of having animated sprites.
Now the big question is, how to replicate them? There's definitely a lack of information in regards to this, and it's a huge pain not knowing what makes something so small and unimportant, that difficult to replicate.
I could try looking at this as if I were making a GIF, but then how would I even make Halo recognise it?
Sigh... This is a huge pain >.<
BUMP
Did anyone figure this out? :\

How to Use Halo Multiclient with Xfire by Sceny
Please note: I used Halo CE for this tutorial, but it will work with Halo.
- Download and follow the installation instructions for Halo Multiclient.
- Exit Xfire.
- Go to 'C:\ProgramData\Xfire' and back up 'xfire_games.ini'.
- Open the original 'xfire_games.ini' up in Notepad.
- Find Halo or Halo CE.
- You should have something similar to this:
Quote: LongName=Halo: Custom Edition ShortName=haloce LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo CE\EXE Path LauncherExe=haloce.exe LauncherPasswordArgs=-password "%UA_GAME_HOST_PASSWORD%" LauncherNetworkArgs=-connect %UA_GAME_HOST_NAME%:%UA_GAME_HOST_PORT% %UA_LAUNCHER_PASSWORD_ARGS% Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% ServerStatusType=HALO ServerGameName=* ServerBroadcastPort=2302:10 InGameRenderer=D3D9 InGameFlags=USE_PRESENT|ENABLE_MOUSE|USE_DINPUT_MOUSE|ENABLE_FPS_MODE
- Change the 'LauncherExe=haloce.exe' to 'LauncherExe=multiclient.exe'.
- Insert a new line and put 'DetectExe=haloce.exe'
- It should look like this:
Quote: [4239] LongName=Halo: Custom Edition ShortName=haloce LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo CE\EXE Path LauncherExe=multiclient.exe DetectExe=haloce.exe LauncherPasswordArgs=-password "%UA_GAME_HOST_PASSWORD%" LauncherNetworkArgs=-connect %UA_GAME_HOST_NAME%:%UA_GAME_HOST_PORT% %UA_LAUNCHER_PASSWORD_ARGS% Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% ServerStatusType=HALO ServerGameName=* ServerBroadcastPort=2302:10 InGameRenderer=D3D9 InGameFlags=USE_PRESENT|ENABLE_MOUSE|USE_DINPUT_MOUSE|ENABLE_FPS_MODE
- Restart Xfire.
- On Xfire, click on Tools>Launch>Detect Games, and go to Halo.
- In the Extra Command Line Paramters, type 'haloce.exe + <other commands you may use>.
- Hit apply, and then ok.
- Launch Halo.

Imo, it seems to be an attack against Elitegameservers.com servers. My server (also hosted by EGS) was attacked by player 'DDoS Attack'. Edited by Sceny on Feb 21, 2015 at 12:04 PM

Good luck installing that CPU on that mobo :)
Wont happen. Go waste your time doing something else.
This was disappointing :(
On the original HUD, there are 4 reloading dots that appear on the Banshee, Rocket Hog and Scorpion HUD when it reloads. I've recently been trying to create my own version of those dots, however I've run into a problem where all the dots on the new bitmap appear. Whilst studying the original, I noticed that its alpha is made up of 'pyramid' like shapes. Does anyone here have any insight on how to get custom dots working like the original? I would really appreciate it.

Can you please decide which HUD you will be using... Those images are ruined by the mismatched HUD.
