I moved on to 3DS 2014, but I think it's giving me fake open edge errors... I'm using the JMS model exporter.

Collada exporter, use 32bit for max 8 and 64 bit for 2014. .dae

Max 8 installed and runs fine on my 64bit, no tricks involved.

I prefer using Max 8, but I was forced to use 2014 because my Max 8 kept corrupting my model file. I didn't know what to do, so I loaded it in 2014 and continued my work that way.
Now, I've done a little too much work on a new file for me to start off from the pre-corrupted file.
My 3ds max has always worked, except for when it doesn't. Even when I had my Windows 8.

I'm just gonna ignore ftsshot.
I tried messing with the motion sensor range and sensitivity, but I had porked it once and never wanted to edit it again. I probably didn't use the decimal value correctly.

There are about 30 - 50 open edges on the map, once I get those sorted out, I will compile it ingame and fix the rest of the buildings. I've already finished the really complex structures, so Alls I need are to proportion the basic buildings and add more detail. Ingame pics should come soon, but they'd come sooner if someone was willing to fix the open edges for me :P

I've worked too hard on this project to let it die, so don't worry about that. The CMT work I have is easy, so it's not like I'm overloaded or anything, but I have been spending time on studying for an exam that I have today, and that's been eating up my time.
Moot, I'll send you the map sometime soon, probably PM the files to you around 11:00 PM California time. I'm spending ALL day at school studying for an exam I have today :(

Jeese's CMT contributions right now are limited to A10 refinements and ingaming a few assets bob hasn't had the time to work on (marines keep him busy). There will be a CMT SPV3 progress report tonight, but this thread is for discussion of the pit. Any CMT discussion should be taken to the CMT thread.
