Quote: --- Original message by: clonecam117 When did jackrabbit say he hated Halo 4? Hmmm... let's think...
"halo 4 was blech imo" "halo 4 is yuckye" "H4 sucked"
those are all copy-n'-pasted.
So guys, I notice that some H4 objects don't have diffuse maps, that or the diffuse maps are black and white. Is that an Adjutant problem or is that how the tags are? Yeah but I never used the word hate! Lol!
Quote: --- Original message by: Rosanna Weyland This coming from the primary advocate for releasing unfinished, broken or otherwise unsuitable content.
WTF ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?
Yeah, no. I and other people are working on Adjutant as a labour of love. I'm personally pecking away at it with my limited C# knowledge, but I alone am not getting very far.
It's true, others more than likely have private builds in the work that have more content available, but unless I'm presented with those tools, I choose to work on the assumption that they either won't be released or are going to take a long time to be made public, and continue to work on Adjutant as the community's current best bet for complete asset extraction.
As for everything else: it's the community's lack of gratitude -yours in particular, Jackrabbit - that has left the rest of us without complete asset extraction tools. Maybe, just maybe, exercising a little gratitude towards the people working on these tools would stand the community in good stead for tools being released more quickly and the development of those tools being made more public and transparent. It's the foul behaviour that we've seen in the past that discourages people from developing and releasing their work.
Bear that in mind. Aside from speeking with gravemind.one time!
I have nothing to do with Adjutant at all! and saying I have lack of gratitude just make you look Dumb! It has absolutely Nothing to do with me what so ever. and I think everyone here knows that. Why don't you stick your finger back in your But! where you pulled it out from. because pointing at me is getting you nowhere!
& BTW I don't hate you .I just hope your next period happens in a shark tank !!!
Quote: --- Original message by: clonecam117 Well, I will be patient and eagerly await any updates for Adjutant's H4 functionality. You know jackrabbit, for someone who claims to hate H4 so much, you sure do beg for its content a lot... Where and why would I do that? & when exactly did I say I HATED halo4? although I do I never remember saying that. if anything I was referring to how the majority of the the public feels.
@ElijahB1 Yeah I was just trying to answer the question to the best of my ability. obviously since You are on the ADJ team you know far more then I do I was just referring to what Grave Mind told me months ago.
And for the record aside from personal issue with Rosanna Weyland's mouth There is no lack of gratitude from me.
I really appreciate what you are doing. But I am also Hoping to see Assembly doing the exact same thing ADJ does only better. But I am just a software user with his fingers crossed. Edited by jackrabbit on Jan 2, 2014 at 02:57 AM
It's because they are not writing the tag definitions them self's only mirroring what is Available to them found on google code. The ADJ team has no control over this.
They are simply wrighting this code based of the same code for Assembly for what research has been done on the game and is official.
Tag definitions are the same just different format I tried to tell gravemind about the fixes I made to get more models to work with this app the ADJ team does not want any help.
They will only use official google code and there is more research and accomplishments. made than that of witch is official.
Not everyone is sharing there research on google code.
There is still Privet build's with better features floating around for god sakes.
They simply don't want us to have specific content probably because the fetures are WIP. and they don't want to released unfinished broken work. Honistly I cant blame them for that.
I would not want to release unfinished work ither.. Why else would they release a tag pack?
It does not matter ADJ Will be obsolete Just as soon as Assembly has A proper model viewer Imputed.

Something about that image tells me its a nono for dennis Edited by MEGASEAN2812 on Dec 31, 2013 at 02:31 AM Okay well if I broke a rule please tell me and I will remove it. I don't see anything wrong with a girl fully dressed on a toilet backwards. Just because she has a nice backside you think its inappropriate but then again I was just trying to make a point about Rumors on Halo 5 & what opinions really are! Sense people want to quote essays and act like our life is so totally pointless that we want to read poop 3 times I figure a picture is worth 1000 words witch happens to be more than 200. SOMETHING TO PONDER: An observation : The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

HaHa we didn't even have hek+ or os when I was doing my conversion it was a map I Made.
I found about 3 maps from each released pack was compatible. with the 360 and I was making a pack specific. for the 360 but it was along time ago.
I saved some pictures.
I have all ready tested all these maps on the xbox360 and sense there included in other packs It would not be hard to remake this map pack.
All it really needed was the 13th map.
I know there old maps but still a lot of fun. Edited by jackrabbit on Dec 30, 2013 at 12:53 PM
Well I am Extremely impressed with everything you are saying this is unbelievable. I may have some secrets to share with you!!!
That being said, I've had no trouble with lightmaps, This is the best news of all! Does this mean you can convert any map at all?
I'm super syked about this don't forget that there is more & better networks than just xlink kai now for the jtag you can have much more. You can basically. have online play with 16 players. with in game chat with out using 3d party software. its built in to the freestyle dashbord.
I hope you will release these in a patch or playable iso forum so people can burn them to a disk and even play them on there DVD rom moded 360's as well
Having one disk be compatible. with all the different types of mods is good. reset glitch hack, jtag, & dvd rom Hack 360 + xbox1.
That will bring more players to the table!
You do have everything you need for main menu mod's right? If not I can take a dig for you!
Anything small enough to play on the xbox360 is perfect.
although these
Maridia: 18.6mb Requiem: 21.6mb Anxiety: 26.2mb Delta Ruined: 23.2mb
seem a little small.
You should make a list of what's most important SP & MP.
Guess what! I have some unreleased conversions on my xbox1 Though but I cant get them off of there because the Ethernet port broke. I tried to copy them one by one to memory card but always got the data failed error.
They where all from other map packs but the last level was custom I was building although I had that light map issue. that ended up being the key reason I never released it.
My new desktop does not even use ide cables anymore there all sata ports. so I currently don't have anyway to get the maps off there. Yet.
I believe a mod like this done today could go a lot farther and way better than previous map packs.
What is the map line up so far? I got whisper of Anxiety?
I thought I saw delta ruins? was that not already released in another one of the map packs?
I have a map pack I built that is only missing one level but I never released it. I sort of abandon the project right at the very end due to BSP lighting issues on the last map. It was a mix of maps from other map packs. only difference is these work on the xbox360.
from what I found its even harder to get the maps to load on the 360 because it uses an emulator.
I think the maps need to be under 50 or 60.mb to load on the xbox360 or somewhere around there. food for thought incase you didn't know.
I started my project many years ago. on the xbox1 map conversion process is just so tedious sometimes you might get half way though converting a map or some assets and find out something wont convert or convert properly & then your stuck on a wish.
Anyway, I have Blublaze on my Skype I have talked with him quite a bit about the project. I didn't know there was someone else involved However.
I do have a development console if you need any testing done on the 360 HMU. Edited by jackrabbit on Dec 29, 2013 at 05:08 AM
It's part of the shader modifier
That's it.

Quote: --- Original message by: Echo77 I really like how well the sky goes with the map itself, and gives the illusion that you're playing in an area that's much larger than it actually is. Feels much less confined than the usual cliffside boundaries. I agree; this map has the most unique, yet natural and compelling style out of all the maps that I've seen released so far with custom content. The vastness and closely matching themes of the weapons and scenery, the rare feeling in a video game where you actually WANT to drop your guns, take a stroll, and just go out and enjoy "nature"...
This is art. It's good art. Something we need to see more of in the future :) This is the truth. Balance out the weapons & vehicles. and you will not only have a good map but like a 10!
