Dennis, have you considered putting a 2 or 3 dayly or hourly topic creating limit to user who are newer then a week or so old. I'm pretty sure no one here is going to ever create 2 or more topics in one day or within a few hours.

close registration again.

You know... I wonder if Dennis is getting money from more profiles being created from his website. It could be a win-win when there are trolls. Dennis gets to see a little porn, and he gets money from the trolls making multiple accounts.... If he does get money from it anyway...

But valid members do and often which is why the limits were opened. Trolls like the one poor child trying to harass the forum with their hissy fits are easily spotted and ignored. Quite honestly it is more annoying to them when they are ignored then when they elicit topics like this one.

Let me fix that for you: "You know I wonder how much more money Dennis spends on more profiles"

I spend not make money on these websites.

Well, are you sure members often create multiple topics within the hour? If, they do, at least do a 4 or 5 limit insted of unlimiyed or 2 or 3 limit. It would be a lot more easyly to spot a troll and not get the forums cluttered up in seconds.

Edit:
Oh ( sh it ) forget my comment about that then... Well will you at least consider this idea? Maybe put it on a forum poll to see if members like this idea or not?

The more profiles, the more space and bandwith Dennis and his web-hosting service has to spend on us.

Well, ok. But this is a good idea right? Giving week old members a limit of 4 or 5, maybe less, topic creatable capabilities?

Maybe put a poll on this idea to see who would like to try this idea out.

I ment 4 or 5 per topics per hour. I'm pretty sure noone is going to make 4 or 5 topics in an hour.

If this is true, you are wasting great potential for ad revenue; which leads me to assume you are lying.
The ad revenues comes no where near to the cost of the bandwidth that is consumed by the 15 to 20 terabytes of downloads each month. I could not afford to run these sites without the offset of the meager funds they generate.

Eh, it should be common knowledge that Dennis spends more on this site than any of us could afford (he said he could have a nice car with that cash)

I personally think there should be a limit on topics created per day by any user. Trolls win when we react to their threads, why have more for us to react to?

If this is true, you are wasting great potential for ad revenue; which leads me to assume you are lying.

On top of this, I've seen you use this website as an example website for sales pitches to new clients, on the UXBInternet main website. Once again, you are surely generating some degree of profit from here. Acknowledge it or not, it's true.

If you really insist it's not true, then make it true.

People spend money on things they like a lot of times without actually getting money back from it. Restoring cars, boats, etc is a prime example, as you hardly ever get the money back you put into it. Making and running your own website is another example of such, especially one like this where you have to host large amounts of files for tons of users. On top of this, he moderates a forum of 12 year olds, where most of them spam with the website with troll accounts, post useless stuff on the forums not even related to the topic at hand, and often create a bad environment for newcomers that might be actually trying to learn something.

Also, putting things in your portfolio generally doesn't generate money directly in that sense either, as its usually just a way to show people what you are capable of. e.g a freelancer artist for games will often showcase some things he did on his own free time in collaboration with actual client work, in the hopes of actually getting another client to make money from.

The same goes for when they're at school, rather than the internet. A common thing that users don't realize is that the Halo fanbase is loaded with immature brats with nothing better to do than make incoherent attempts to shove their views down others' throats, or simply annoy people for the sake of entertainment and attention seeking as the post I quoted suggested.

Sadly, many of the adults in the Halo fanbase have the maturity of little kids themselves, and the Halo 4 bashers on this forum are living proof.

I know from recent experience (a few months ago) that ignoring them produces rather amusing reactions. Ignoring them is just as effective is making them sit in the corner irl for 20 minutes.

Some? Any Halo forum populated by children or those with equal immaturity (that are adults) has 90% of the members spending almost all of their time bashing anyone who likes Halo 4 or any Halo game other than the first one for that matter.

You basically can't have your own opinion without getting attacked, that's another reason why you have to ignore the trolls.

When one of the titles in the article is "A disaster made by an untalented loser." then you know it's a pretty crap article. Also by IGN doesn't make it any better.

Halo: Reach has to be the worse in terms of SinglePlayer and Multiplayer. Halo 4 sucked in Multiplayer but the story was a vast improvement.

Halo 4 was bad for me because I hated the art style. The Spartans and covenant just didn't look like they were from halo IMHO.

That's also the reason I stopped playing halo 4. Its also the reason why I stopped playing battlefield 4 (apart from terrible map design and hit registration)

Wow How we have deviated to an off topic Thread.

This is really Just your opinion.
Quote: --- Original message by: untalented loser."

You barely see the playlists with more than 1000 people playing them; only four playlists are beyond 2000 players which are Big Team Slayer, Big Team Skirmish, Infinity Slayer and SWAT. And how not? The total population fell 87% in six months... SIX MONTHS!! That means 400,000 people started to play Halo 4 in November. Now, there are around 20,000 people playing every day! And how not? The game has too much sucky playlists and very few players that want to play stupid game modes such as Dominion, Regicide or the stupid Infinity Slayer (Call of Duty's Team Deathmatch better said). Would someone like to be killed every three seconds? I don't think so. I would play Black Ops instead... While Halo 3 took around four years to lose the 87% of population, Halo 4 took only six months. With this, a LOT of players felt Halo 4 like a ***** game and decided to move to other shooters.

Campaign. I cryed It was so bad.

Spartan Ops: An episodic nightmare of repeated garbage. <---This!

Multiplayer was so bad I had to come to halomaps.

Now I believe this Thread, is A suggestion to improving the forums from trolls.

=0 Lulz!
