I've noticed that cubemaps are VERY helpful with Skyboxes in Unity but I need a High Resoultion version of the clear afternoon sky. Anybody want to point me in the right direction?

Note this image is the wrong sky but is a good example of what I need:

Sense when did we become a unity support form?
Your asking for unity assets. Maybe just my opinion but this thread does not belong here.

Halo cube maps aren't even made that way.

Your asking someone else to do your work because you cant do extremely simple picture edits. But yet your trying to build halo in unity when you don't even know how HEK works.

You cant follow a tutorial or take the time to learn. or even do a simple search.
If you had the halo editing kit installed along with the needed applications listed in the HEK tutorial. Then you would have what you need and you would not be making this post.

Honestly If you really want to get anywhere You should learn HEK you might even learn some skills you could then take with you when you go back to this utterly pointless unity project.

At least learn how to make your own assets!

Just because I'm asking for help doesn't mean I don't know how to do anything.

he's here to learn. stop being so dense.

when using skyboxes, the advantage is that you can put a lot of stuff into a compact space to make something look as genuine as possible without affecting performance. the disadvantage is that it consumes a lot of texture space and memory(not to mention the load time) and reducing texture quality will also make the skybox less integral, so an alternative is to create your sky using meshes similarly to halo's sky setup, so that consistency is met with lower resolutions and texture memory is saved.
you can find most of halo CE's sky tags here, under Skies.

This coming from cry engine developer.
This is the second time you linked him to the same page and said the same thing.

Thanks master noob but when I import those skies into Unity they don't blend together well. All I want is images likes these:

What you could do is make your own level in halo, with just the map. Then take as many screenshots of the map as you like, crop it to fit the necessities of a cubemap, then create cubemap.
You could change skies easily too that way.

Set your FOV to 90 and use Vivid360 to take pictures maybe? I never tried that so don't ask me how.
