i will see if i can make it. shouldn't be a problem to get over there cause i have a free pass for the ferrys.

anacortes is quite the long haul to seattle XD for me since i have to go around tacoma its a 4 hour journey XD

New multiplayer list!



Reskinned and reformatted for your server-browsing pleasure. I also resized a few columns so there's more room for long map names.

There's a whole lot of other changes going on too. You'll see them in the near future.

This is strictly a no espanol zone.

It's just my opinion, but the colours are a little too deep for my test, I think they may or may not look slightly nicer if they were using a lighter hue with some opacity.

I always remember profiles glitching in the old uui, better put the profiles button on the front page (In the bottom midle as a small button maybe).

Please, if you're going to say "espanol" instead of "spanish", at least use a "ņ". It's not the same leter and it's not an accent, it's like saying "potato" is the same as "polalo"

Update!

All layout-related items in this update are pretty much completed, and we are now on the polishing and finishing up stage. I was recently able to implement a UI-wide profile display, all thanks to discoveries made by Giraffe. Here's a screenshot or two of what that looks like:





This small addition really seems to tie the menu together in a more personal way. Also, if you use a mouse, you will be able to select the image and switch profiles on the fly (this feature is disabled in select menus).

More to come. Also, someone raised a concern over profile switching issues in 1.0. Thank you for bringing that to our attention; it has been fixed.

Not to keen on the green text and selected server highlighting in the first image.
Maybe a lighter shade of blue, or grey like you have in the second image?
I don't know, it's just the green doesn't seem to fit well with the rest of the UI.

If you guys are talking about MP map thumbnails in the server list... It is not possible using this old engine. The reason is, Halo may be able to read the map name from the server, but it doesn't know how to associate that name with an image. The images you see when you are selecting your own map are in a predetermined order that coincides with the list of maps.

In short, I cannot add MP thumbnails. Engine limitations.

Yes, it's possible to do 1 image for each bar in the list. However, the image would always the there regardless of if the list is populated yet or not. The game cannot distinguish for itself if a list item contains loaded information or not, outside of its normal operation.
