This is why we can't have nice things. Just let him put in it what he wants. Its your opinion on what maps are good and are not. We all know none of your opinions matter except mine.

Amazing how you little kids will complain about that AI migration "bug". It was impossible to fix with the limited BSP overlap, not saying it was the BSP maker's fault though. We actually finished a very amusing campaign otherwise. And it REALLY is only our haters that complain about it. Jaz has hated me from the very first time I won an argument from him. DSali has hated Higuy since he leaked his bad H2 map. MasterNoob is actually just trolling, you will find many bugs in even AAA games which are left in due to time constraints. When you work on a project in a serious way, you set time goals. And sticking to those sometimes leads to some bugs being left in. That bug wasn't even game-breaking. Move on through and they "un-freeze". As I recall we only had like 2, very rare, game breaking bugs. Which we fixed in an update after release. But hey, vocal minority gonna be vocal. I'm sure it just sucks for them to realise they will never get remotely close to such a thing themselves. As for this: Quote: --- Original message by: LestatQuote: --- Original message by: HiguyQuote: --- Original message by: Lestat I know lodex has an issue of people not explaining why Lumoria is good. Perhaps L0d3man still has the text files, but we got countless great reviews during the beta test. I'd love to see this. Show me the reasoning behind why you guys think Lumoria is so good. I'm not going to post them here, but I still have some. If you really want to see them add me on xfire... And else you got yourself some simple statistical proof on this very website. The downloadenumbers + rating + comments in the release thread speak for themselves. You haven't even played the map yourself DSali, yet SCREAM that it sucks. But you were never a credible man. Edited by The Lodeman on Feb 14, 2013 at 01:49 AMAnd finally, as for Waffles: Quote: --- Original message by: waffles tbh i never got to test lumoria as much as i wanted, and the minor things that could have been fixed easily didn't end up getting fixed (smoothing errors/particle loss), and i never got an okay to do it myself. I truly did enjoy the level design, and seeing some classic halo elements in the encounters, it wasn't a perfected project, but its as polished an experience to date in the community. You were actually given "free roam", but decided you wanted to work on other, shader-related projects for other people. This was a time in which everyone came to you, requesting things. And you couldn't get these "orders" prioritised. Edited by The Lodeman on Feb 14, 2013 at 01:52 AM

Quote: --- Original message by: HiguyThank you for pointing out a wonderful error! Perhaps if you had some courtesy you could explain how to solve it? Edited by Higuy on Feb 13, 2013 at 08:01 PM The freezing is from you having an encounter that spans multiple BSPs. The exception is probably sloppy scripting which relies on that encounter. Bungie has a few instances of the freezing that people exploit for speed runs, but they don't suffer from any exceptions/gamecrashes. Edited by Masters1337 on Feb 14, 2013 at 06:35 AM

I think every possible counter to the things you said have already been mentioned in this thread. Sometimes I wonder if you are any better than Altheros. Actually I just countered everything you said. You had a chance to adress my arguments, but you chose to hide behing tough words. And Masterz, you don't know what you're talking about. I explained exactly what the issue's cause was, and that's that. You can barely copy-paste existing scripts, so best not to jump into these sorts of arguments.

I am a self-taught member. This engine has zero documentation except for community tutorials. AI migration was always a hassle when you have to partially guess how it works. You develop a methodology after awhile that works pretty good, but isn't bullet-proof. It worked in 99% of the cases, and even here except for the temporary freeze.
Sure, go ahead and mock that one small non-game-breaking bug. And let's not forget this was my first serious project in the community. There is no ai freezing bug present in episode 2, as my technique improved...again, based off experiments towards how the engine behaved. Anyways, we all know I am a much better encounter designer than you and a much better scripter than you when it comes down to raw power. So don't try to act arrogant and superior towards me. Although it is typical of your character to think you are the man around here, and are superior to everyone else.
And as I have said before, someone like you shouldn't be associated with Lumoria at all. Even though at one point you said you would get a team together to make visual upgrades. Edited by The Lodeman on Feb 14, 2013 at 03:21 PM

I'll just post more vids in a different thread when I get around to them; there were a lot more bugs coming up to that one moment.

You're probably just being an ass. But let me tell you this simple little fact.
We have our testers. When the game does not break, ever, for us and our testers, we cannot trace bugs on a per-machine basis. Also, if you're going to be an ass, do specify which version of Lumoria you played. I would love nothing more than to help an ass up and running.

2. Do not self bump a topic (post twice in a row) - there is an edit function that will allow you to edit your post if you forgot to say something. Use it. Wait for someone to answer your post before posting again. This is not instant messaging. It can take days before someone answers your post. Remember self bumped topics = locked topics
3. Do not bump or post in old topics. For the most part there is a reason they are old leave them that way unless the topic is relevant. Only the administrator or moderator will make that determination
Hmm i don't understand what have i done, i posted that 3 days after the last post, i posted that just to save the thread to "my forums" section, i didn't post twice (isn't that impossible anyways?) so could you please explain to me why would that get the thread locked or/and me banned in any way? am i perhaps missing something? Is it because i posted something similar in another thread? if so, well... as i said it was to "save" the thread in my list, and i didn't have anything better to sayBesides, isn't that argument above me worse?... This is incorrect. If you say something relevant and correct about Lumoria, then great! But trolling posts like yours are clearly just there to troll, because I'm vocal of my opinions on other projects...and you don't like that. And DSali, you're all just words. I've backed up anything I said here, I always do. But you're simply saying I don't...because you're not very good at reading. It's identical to how you say Lumoria is terrible, when you haven't even played it. Credibility dude, you never back up what you say, even when explicilty asked to do so. Just words, nothing more. Really, talking to you is like talking to a wall.

Update! After the overwhelming success of the Universal User Interface in 2013, the time has come to bring this useful main menu up to speed. This September, UUI Version 1.1 (a.k.a. update 1) will be arriving in order to keep things fresh for 2014. Among the updates are: - Added multiple levels to the already diverse selection. 5 new Firefight and 5 new Campaign maps.
- Removed the indefinitely-suspended H2SPP for this release.
- Moved Halo: Covert Ops and Takedown campaigns to main campaign list. Created custom logos and backgrounds for each.
- Custom music now implemented by popular request. Plays at random like the classic music.
- Redesigned interface style. New bitmaps for player color choices, multiplayer options, text field, selection boxes, logos, etc.
- Streamlined singleplayer map loading screen.
- Cleaned up various bitmaps, fixed spacing and cutoff for misc. text, buttons, and boxes.
...and more. Thanks to the awesome efforts of Choclate Thunda (a.k.a. Lavadeeto/H3freak09), we are working on putting a fresh coat of paint on the interface as a whole. Menus will be crisper, cleaner, and easier on the eyes. Here's a sneak preview of what we have planned. This is a concept image only: Stay tuned!Edited by MoooseGuy on Aug 5, 2014 at 08:42 PM

People seem to forget this is an open source project, just because it is using the original backdrop doesn't mean you can't make you own UUI. Pretty sure CMT will be releasing a spun off version with the new TSC:E island once this is out.
