That's unfortunately how a lot of things work in Halo's UI system. There's a lot of stuff that references hard-coded information that I am unable to change. All the crazy things I've been able to do with this project have been pure workarounds. There's no magic behind this stuff, just a few levels of working trickery.

Leaking fool, those who knew were suppose to keep mum. Version numbers change all the time so saying ''WTF OS 4.0.0'' does nothing but create confusion. OS 4.0.0 is still in closed beta so you're not getting it.

Update!



All HD map images are now fully implemented!
This sucker is so close to being done I can taste it. And it tastes sweet.

Expect an imminent release within the next couple of days...

Takedown maps are both OS and non OS. Non OS versions work just fine with the UUI

Just installed the UUI its a really good improvement over the old one, I love the new design. It would be so cool if there was a feature to change the Main menu music at will.

The whole UUI is designed to be open sourced and so that people can recompile it with different backgrounds and such, so I am sure it will be fine. If you are interested in doing other translating work, shoot me a PM.

It's already being done. I'm working with MadSpartan to get it converted. Expect it to be out a few weeks after the English version makes it to the HaloMaps main page.
