Stop bumping, it's not ready yet. Testing is not a skill you possess that can help me.
I'm not valve, though. I wanted Valhalla done by the end of July, but the guy helping me out by supplying the weapon and HUD tags is always missing.
I might have somehthing unrelated to show later, but I want to get substantial progress first.

Oh so your telling me that 2x - 4y = 9 is an age? And at what point exactly do i reach 3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693993751058209749445923078164062862089986280348253421170679->∞? Considering it goes on forever i doubt one can reach it. So i think i've just blown your point out of the water. I refuse to continue playing your insipid game of back and forth any longer.

People ask me this from time to time on xfire and PMs.
That firefight stopped being worked on at about the time this update topic was started. Valhalla had more interest, and although I was working on the firefight first (I think... I was more enthusiastic about it anyway), Valhalla was getting done at a faster rate. They both started off pretty slow. A whole arbiter and halo 2 tagset didn't seem likely. Mooseguy was my partner in that, and he left the community after his computer crashed.
So Flawed Legacy is just a bsp right now.At this point, Flawed Legacy is, ironically, exactly what it's named... I'll leave that mediocre bsp on halomaps someday, so people could use it if they want.

the detail map in your metal shader seems kinda low res. that or it's stretched too big.

I could finish it if I wanted to. Before I didn't have people helping me out with shaders and weapons. And it's in gmax form now, I would just have to export it to gbx and get it into 3ds max 2011.

Map's almost done, just need to complete the scripts for respawning/backpack weapons/vehicles in the mancannons.

I've had no internet for the last four of those days. And yes, I still need to finish scripting some things. Then I need a wraith, then a bubble shield, then I need to lower the tagspace.
Picture updates are irrelevant until I'm deciding on a wraith/shield to use or posting images of the ones I'm using.

Use CMT's wraith? That one looks pretty close to Halo 3, if I remember correctly. Also I remember someone had a good bubble shield at one point, forget who though.

CMT's wraith has a ton of dependent tags that would increase the cache file size a ton. I could use just the CMT model with non-cmt effects, but I'm wondering if anyone has a halo 3 wraith already.

i have some tags blindz gave to me. you can ask deus ex for them and ill give them to you or his friends ( i think he might of left) and if there not there or you cant find them ill givethem to you and you give credit to the authors

They don't need to be welded. Especially since your not going to be using the same model as the collision.

You can clearly tell that most halo 3 models get mirrored in a symmetrical line. In cheddar's first picture, you can see near the bottom of the front of the blue wraith, that the verteces are not welded, causing the cubemaps to "not be smooth". Doesn't look good.

Well I'm not sure if it's the angle that the picture is looking at the wraith, but there's like scattered shadows on it and it looks like sh**. Too much orange too, but the cubemap and multi probably do need some tweaking.

Yeah the scattered shadows would have to do with the cubemap and multi I believe. I don;t see what else could be affecting it like that. And yeah, the orange is too much I will agree with you there.
