Uh    So qwerty made new base shaders, and they are more shiny, but I kind a wanted them to be dark at some angles. Also, qwerty, the mark 6 has a marathon radio on it? Right now any gametype except for ctf uses the mark 6 player permutation, and ctf is marathon (security) vs hyabusa.

wow, really looks awesome, i like what u've done around the bases and the blending of the grass into the dirt, noice, this really is going to b an epic map. just from qwerty's vid, the visor might look better if it was a little brighter, shinier? it looked a little dull to me. great collaboration and great work guys.

i think it's awesome work you guys are doing here, 1 thing i did notice from 1 of your images is this... it looks tiled, but it could just be the distance the fp view is from it. but the keep in mind that's just how i saw it when i looked at the image.

The 3P biped of the Spartan still needs better shaders (looks too plastic right now, or clayish) and the valley needs an overhaul in lighting (you'll see it as you look through Valhalla more and more. Otherwise, good job!

Personally, I think it looks better than the other, but I recommend you use a color. White makes everything look chalky.

I like that you can see the detail better in this pic, my opinion on the mater remains the same Something i noticed is that in the vid it looks like valhalla is having a drought, weird because it's right by a huge body of water, see in this image  looks really tan and bright. A simple import of it into PAINT.NET! and changing the brightness in there fixes this see  and that's just with this image. i think it'll work on the actual bitmaps themselves EDIT: ok so you can't really see them at this size, closer you get the more you can see it does actually look better Edited by grunt_eater on Jul 19, 2011 at 11:45 AM

Base shaders, and jesse's halo 3 hud v2. Ignore the weapon hud and the halo 1 ctf, I didn't change those. Visor? Like/Hate? Red and blue shaders are the default hardcoded colors. These are temporary and will most likely be changed.

Spartan shaders are so much better. I don't know what it is though, they look good, but just.. idk.. too smooth; as if a fresh coat of paint was applied to their armor. More scrathes/ dents IMO.

The base needs more grime to it.
And I agree with CLS. Please work on lightmaps. The map has a distinct areas of shade to it.

I would go see if Spartan094 would lend his shaders to you. Those look... odd, almost like their missing some quality. Most likely becuase of not using a correct multipurpose and using fake bump maps.
