You can't just "put Halo 3 ragdoll physics" into a Halo CE map. It requires changing the engine to allow ragdoll physics. The best you can get now, is more realistic death animations.

... Learn the basics of modding before you ask such silly questions. The answer is No.
You can;t change the game engine functionality with tags and scripts added to a map...

You would have to completely revamp the entire halo ce engine by the time you did that, it would no longer be hce.

If you use better death animations, can you make them like permutations? So like after one death animations play, you have a chance of having a different one play the next time you die?

The H2CE team did a good job with the animation where in halo 2, if you shoot someone in the head with a sniper they almost do a backflip and land on their back.... but yall probably didnt realize this because all people play is zanzibar D:

and get on xfire dude! Actually it would be able to. You need to put Havok or any other good physics engine in. It is not a question of the entire engine, but a question of lack of physics engine.

If your talking about the ones the H2CE team did then yes. If you mean straight from halo 2 i dont think so... you would have to make your own.

The closest I've ever seen to "ragdoll physics" was Mahalo's Overdose campaign. It was basically an animation made within Max using Havok I believe, and it used limp body physics to simulate it.
It was a good concept, but not exactly what I'd call pretty. Edited by Marka Haiyana on Dec 20, 2009 at 05:29 AM

guys,i gotz an idea try using the elite flood death animation for a spartan like when it flies in the air or falls that would be of some use yet having the engine not handle ragdoll physics but this is the most you can get out of ragdoll physics in halo CE

Just make your own custom death animations.

^ Exactly Look everyone, there is NO SUCH THING AS RAGDOLL PHYSICS IN HALO CE! Simple as that. And what you all nubs are calling "ragdoll physics" in halo ce are just fancy death animations. Am right, your wrong. Just thought I'd make this clear. I win. Edited by The Barron on Dec 21, 2009 at 07:50 PM

Let me talk to skarma about that one... It'd probably be possible if he does what he's doing and finishes. He has other things he's working on though so I highly doubt he'd say 'yes' to reversing the physik section of Halo. Edited by Dwood on Dec 21, 2009 at 08:29 PM
