One of the walls that say "Arteen" (sorry can't be specific) the brutes and grunts were frozen in place. I had to go backwards for them to unfreeze.

One of the encounters had too many grunts. They were stacked on top of eachother. Sorry, Lacutis already stated this.

There were a few minor issues I managed to encounter while in game. Here's a few of the issues (trying to avoid repetition of ones which have already been noted):

  • The Brutes had a bad habit of grenade spamming, usually teamkilling other Brutes while in packs.

  • Silenced pistol and SMG weren't silent enough to allow stealth play (mainly around the Chiron area).

  • Hunters got stuck in the maintenance access ways (or whatever it's called), allowing me to pick them off easily.

  • AR needs to do more damage. It's almost useless on Brutes, and sometimes on Elites.

  • There was a slight framerate issue during the first cut scene. When viewing the PoA, my framerate dropped to 17 FPS. Not really an issue, but it's worth a mention.

  • On the new BSP's, it's easy to get lost. Try making a few small Grunt encounters to hint the player where to go (mainly on the multi-leveled area that resembles a cut down Boarding Action.

  • On the same note, the new BSP's need music. The areas seem a bit dull without it.[*/]

Other then those issues, the mod seems to be awesome :D. Nice job so far!

But seriously, you call that AI? And I dunno if the Brutes and Elites have the same dialogue, but they both do have deep voices. Add in more Elites, they were much more major at the time - the Brutes were in service just about as much as the Engineers. And it's either that you make their shield graphics move, or make it a sort of single-layer shield, without the "holes". Their power armor should go with the shields, not after you blow their health off. Add in Hunters in enclosed corridors for a challenge. It seems Brutes take a little more melee damage than Elites. And yeah, one guy does have a point about Grunts sleeping when they should be boarding a ship. The Grunts seem awfully placed, as well as the marines. Don't put in too much Grunts, although they still wanna make me take off their breather, they're still overplaced. Replace some with Elites. Some encounters should have Elites and Brutes, not just Elites or just Brutes. Seriously, it's that buggy. Go take your time. Graphics are great, but Brutes need better textures, the model is okay. Put them in some black garments under their armor.

Seriously, I'm disappointed and still happy to have it.

you described some very important issues and i agree with EVERYTHING you said, but u forgot to mention that it takes 3 whole clips to waste one bad guy (elite or brute). it takes the fun away and makes me wind up runnin out of ammo super fast. its very frustrating. i also gotta say, cmt over did it on the blood. u shoot a grunt in the head and they spurt 20 gallons of blood on the floor. its kinda pointless. (to me at least) now everyone here prob disagrees, but thats fine with me, ur allowed ur opinion. :D

the ma5c ammo counter is bugged up. When you reload, you have 32 rounds, but if you shoot to 30, the ammo counter still looks full.

This is a very nice improvemnt from the first, and i didn't face many errors.

There were a few that people have named, like the ladder problem, and the excessive amount of blood. other than that it was fine. FPS was awesome even on my laptop (an old Dell D600, unmodified, loaded with other games and my small video recording studio).

One thing i wanted to mention is that there is one area with a small matinence accessway that wasn't mandatory to go in, but leads to an arteen obsessed wall. Might have been a glich, but it was just that the door was unlocked.

You can already turn it off in the options menu.

thats because you have to divide a certain number by 32 or the AR's ammo when doing the counter. But this number isn't properly divide by 32 it gives you a decimal value

That's not a bug It's the way the HUD is structured. Technically the alpha bias or multiplier thing should be set to 7.5 But since the meters don't accept halves it defaults to 8 causing the "bug". It cannot be fixed (i believe as i don't play with Bar based meters).

for me, the hardest part in legendary is the beginning after you talk to captain Keyes. There are either not enough allies, the allies are too stupid, or they get stuck by a plasma nade.

yep, what the two other guys said. But actually it sometimes doesn't default to 8 and messes up something. If you set it to 8 it'd show 30/32 even if it's full, but if you set it to 7, it'll show 32 even if you have 30.

Just fix the Brutes, encounters, and Ander-powered weapon.

About the ammo meter thing, I dont see how it would matter, since the meter is a full gradient bar.

that's an issue that's been around since last year, or atleast when I played my first spv2 beta. It's supposedly something about your graphics card, but it happens on both my pcs, while the snow grove ones work fine.

Something I noticed is the SMG is way too powerful. The Assualt Rifle took a clip and a half to kill an enemy, while the SMG too a third of its clip.

SMG could be cut down just a little, and the AR should do a little bit more against sheilds...

It's not that the SMG was that overpowered, it's fine where it stands. The Assault Rifle is the weapon that needs to be upped in damage.

Yeah,the AR was a little under powered, I mean their first AR in MP, was really strong, make it about the strength of that AR, a little weaker though please.

I thought the strength of the Assault Rifle from SPv1 was close to that of Halo 1. Halo 3's assault rifle does more damage than Halo 1, which is what CMT is opting for right now with their custom 32 round Assault Rifle, more damage would compensate for the smaller clip along with forcing the player to decide when to use grenades and melee.

Halo 3's assault rifle does the same amount of damage as Halo 1's. Its just Halo 1's is less accurate.

Well when I played Halo 3, I noticed that the assault rifle was indeed stronger and was a better weapon to carry compared to the one in Halo.

Halo 3's assault rifle has better accuracy and Halo 3 has a better netcode.
Halo 1's assault rifle has bad accuracy and Halo CE has a bad netcode where you have to lead your target.

Theres obviously a difference where more bullets go into a target in 1 game than the other.

A problem I found is that the map uses the unsafe save. I got stuck with a plasma grenade while killing the last guy in an area, got the save, then died.

when i stuck an elite with a plasma nade sometimes it starts to move like a ghost (under this i mean that stands still and moves),oh and elites often throw out their weapons from the map when they die near a wall, most of the things i noticed were mentioned...

Yay, just beat it again without dying. :feels accomplished:
During the ending cutscene, if you press ESC, it just starts the cutscene again. I had to go map_reset to start it again.
