I bet it was because of anti aliasing. I used to have that when I first came to Halo CE. I couldn't figure it out until I used the search function and located the answer. I may be wrong though.

I meant that if someone said our world would blow up on, say, August 1st, and the day did come in China, it wouldn't happen in the US because China is one day ahead.
