I've scoured the hce site and the forums but I can not find how to drop weapon pods from a pelican. I know how to script, don't worry, but I would like to know how to drop a weapon pod from a pelican like in halo 2. I saw a map that did it a few years ago now and do not remember the name. Anyone know how to do it?

I would assume you create a secondary trigger to the pelican and make the projectile a drop pod and give it zero acceleration so it falls to the ground, then you have to make the effect for the pod hitting the ground spawn a weapon.

Those drop pods were animated scenery and they were not dropped from a pelican.

Another question about the pelican. Is it possible to add model animations to biped to allow master chief to sit in the other pelican seats? The ODST bipeds and Master Chief can not use seats other than the Two farthest back ones. Any way to change that?

Either change the seat labels in the model animations tag, or duplicate an existing animation, and rename it to the seats you want cyborgs and ODSTs to enter.

Since the animations for the seats judge the distance they will run to be able to exit the pelican, wouldn't that cause some problems with them just standing there?

Why would they just be standing there...?
Also, you can use the model animations for the cyborg on Coldsnap, which have animations for pelican seats.

Because as the seats go farther back, you'd have to move farther to jump out of the back. They run and stand in the pelican if they do not go far enough

The map you are looking for is called HotZone. Search it. It is open sourced, so you can rip the pelican tags and see how Ender did it.
