Can you provide a link to it? Seems that that would be the better solution
Thank you Gamma927, that fixed it. I guess that does make sense considering when sapien was written for Halo 1 Xbox in 2001, multi core processors were not in the consumer market yet. The Xbox itself had a Pentium 3 paired with a Geforce 3MX. But either way, do you know if it is possible to create a rule or something to tell sapien to only start on one of the CPUs?
I am having problems with Sapien and windows 7 64 bit. It crashes soon after opening with this error:

Anyone know why? I am trying to run it with compatibility for Vista SP2 and still no luck Teknoman117
Thank you I found the bitmaps.

Hello, I need some help. I found a textured model of a Halo 3 recon spartan here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=5009
Well it says textured by it lacks the textures but has them mapped to the model. I found the texture for the helmet and some other pieces "Ninja Diffuse" on the Halo 3 Beta Biped tags but I lack the body textures unless someone can help me. Also where does the .biped specify it's bitmaps?
I would like to know how to make custom vehicle animations. The ones that cause a vehicle to drive/fly/float/whatever in a certain way. For example, the pelican landing in the campaign. I would like to know how to create custom ones. Does anyone know how or does anyone know a good tutorial. Teknoman117
Same thing here, I needed examples for syntax and then the reference guide (The HSC Bible). I had already learned C, C++, Java, and Visual C#. Teknoman Edited by teknoman117 on Nov 19, 2009 at 10:12 AM
Because as the seats go farther back, you'd have to move farther to jump out of the back. They run and stand in the pelican if they do not go far enough
Since the animations for the seats judge the distance they will run to be able to exit the pelican, wouldn't that cause some problems with them just standing there?
Another question about the pelican. Is it possible to add model animations to biped to allow master chief to sit in the other pelican seats? The ODST bipeds and Master Chief can not use seats other than the Two farthest back ones. Any way to change that?
how do you do that?
How would you go back to the main menu?
Post a picture, I'd like to see that!
Yeah, it does. I tried invoking ui.map with map_name but that did not work.
This might be a bit dead, but that file is not on filefront anymore, any chance you still have it and can upload it to halomaps? Edited by teknoman117 on Sep 13, 2009 at 11:41 AM
I made a single player map and its good. I just have an issue. How do you trigger winning? Like how do you make the game exit and go back to the halo menu?
I wanted to have AIs drive vehicles. I followed the tutorial and got the AIs to sit in the driver seat and roam around, but they seem not to do anything intelligent. I try to give them a command list of points to drive to, but they overshoot them and just keep on going. They still do random stuff. I was hoping to create a single player map where you are assisted by AI driven warthogs, but I don't know how to make the AI's driving intelligent.
I got it. When downloading the updated package, merge everything except h3 into h3. The put that in tags. That will work.
I tried to use the halo 3 bipeds off of the site (the updated verison) and it was missing these tags:
09.11.09 20:33:52 need to get the following tags: 09.11.09 20:33:52 h3\characters\shaders\masterchief_armour.shader_model 09.11.09 20:33:52 h3\characters\shaders\h3_mc_light.shader_transparent_chicago 09.11.09 20:33:52 h3\characters\shaders\markvi_detail.shader_model
Anyone know where to find them?
I downloaded the scripting tutorial and the Scripting keywords list (The HaloScript Bible) I learned how to do it in a weekend
