I wanted to have AIs drive vehicles. I followed the tutorial and got the AIs to sit in the driver seat and roam around, but they seem not to do anything intelligent. I try to give them a command list of points to drive to, but they overshoot them and just keep on going. They still do random stuff. I was hoping to create a single player map where you are assisted by AI driven warthogs, but I don't know how to make the AI's driving intelligent.
set the AI to a seperate encounter, make sure that their vehicles have the flag "ai driver can sidestep" checked instead of "AI driver flying" in guerrila, and paste their firing points in the map as far away from each other.
Should improve the AI's intelligence a bit (at least they don't drive all over the place and keep crashing), but they wouldn't move continuously unless they are being shot at/hear the enemy. Also, try not to put the firing positions too close to a cliff or some obstacle, the AI are quite clever at not braking when they see cliffs......
