a few thigns that i found:
1: In the hanger of sorts with the different levels some of the stairs dontwork to properly at the top end
2: I see that with those large group battles that sometimes the blood poles take some off shapes like perfect triangles
I had a question also:
I havent played hale ce in a few months but is it just me or did you guys change the plasma nade speed?

The cyro part literally made my FPS hit 1, and that doesn't happen very much. :/ I was looking forward to this after what you said too....

The amount of bullets needed to kill an enemy should be proportional to the MA5B. For example, if you could kill an Elite with half a clip on Normal with the MA5B, you should also be able to kill an Elite with half a clip on Normal in SPv2.

Just finished it, and heres my verdict on the A10 SPV PB
7 (good)/10
Pros: It extends the amount of time a reguler person would be playing POA while still having a good amount of fun.
More encounters,More weapons, More features, more basiccly everything except more levels. For a beta its as ggood as a mod can get at this stage.
Cons: Need to touch up on some bugs/glitches that really hamper someones gameplay. AKA Blood pooling, balancing, finding your way. Unecccary use of pitch black maitnence corridors.
Although I could go on explaining what needs to be touched up, You get the ideas in those things up there and although it will be better in the final, I suggest adding accesability to both the really old players,the old players, and then new ones.

Time for my barron-tastic opinion First of all i really enjoyed the beta! it was great you guys and am glad you could release it! The encounters were good but there were a few things i noticed When brutes melee you it seemed like all they were doing is blowing hot air up my (insert word here). i would just stand their and let them hit me a few times (this being on heroic) until i decided to beat their skull inwards with the underside of my gun. change the melee damage maybe? and another thing there were two melee's for the brutes. one in which they would punch you and another where they would jump in the air and hit you. the punching one was stronger which i think should not be. the jumping melee should be stronger (probably taking down 75% of your shields as opposed to just like 20%) also in the area where you go threw the tore up part of the ship. that was WAYYYYY to dark. i couldnt even see with my flash light on and my gamma settings are higher then normal also the 3 brutes by the two flaming warthogs right before you enter the warthog armory were NADE WHORES!!!!! all they did was spam you with nades >_> also in one of the parts where the grunts are sleeping theres a brute who will stand on guard and sometimes you can just walk right in front of him and nothing will happen >_> other then that it was awesome.  i really enjoyed it and am going to head back and play it some more. now time for my 1337 picture of spv2  (its HD) Edited by The Barron on Aug 5, 2009 at 10:19 AM

The new bsps need more music and goodies, they're just too boring. It's like going to a ruined city, find enemies there and attack.
Also when I was at the place where you come to a barricade of grenades and spam them, I saw grunts standing on top of the other, and they rather looked like those roundabout rides in fairs.

If you ever fired a gun with a silencer its not all that silent. And since the pistol uses the Pistol .50 round it shouldn't even be that silent. On a side note Hunters are retarded. I lured one into the maintenance tunnel and it just stared at me. When I killed that one the other hunter got stuck on a corner and just stood there letting me melee him. Yeah, I think that there needs to be music in some more places. Try adding Halo 2/3 music to it also. Spice it up a bit. I can't play it until I get back at my house though. From what i've seen through the broadcasts people have been doing. The brutes kinda suck. They need more work. Make them bleed less. Also, make it so that they will not nade spam you. Other than that. I can't really say anything about the public beta because I can't play it until I get back home.

Just did a speedrun, 17 minutes, 3 deaths. The 3 deaths i attribute to me being red health, and not paying attention to a certain brute with a spiker. Other than that, I just ran past everyone, firing overcharged PP shots and BRG grenades to stop them from following me. Not that they would follow me in the new areas, as they just stood in the same place.

Maybe if you guys would lower your screen resolution down once you wouldn't have such bad fps?
I play at 640 x 480 all the time since my GFX card is a laptop one. I got 30 fps the whole level.

The new BSPs need new textures, they seem kinda out-of-place. You should put in a part of Boarding Action, but with one ship and not another. Put in only vacuum-enabled enemies, though, such as Rangers and Grunts(Grunts always have breathers FYI). Gravity should always be enabled though, as they're still standing on Halcyon floors.
Brute vitality seems to take damage proportional to the grunts, or some other enemy I haven't seen. Probably Jackals, as you can see that a Brute takes 2 melees on Normal while and Elite can take 3-4, considering they're of similar rank(Minor Brute-Minor Elite). Brutes are supposed to have more health and less shields, while Elites are vice-versa. Brute armor is supposed to be removable when the shields are up, and should be stripped when the shields go, if at all possible. And Brutes have clothes under their armor. I don't want to say everything in a post, though.

the hunter rod makes everything shake when shot. Also, the marine ai is kinda retarded. 5 of them on legendary lost to a grunt without using plasma nades. This is seriously epic as hell. I was playing through part of the new BSP which uses Chiron's and even though it was on normal, I was rushed by some seriously aggressive and powerful Grunts who almost killed me by trapping me in a corner. Since when did they fire overcharged plasma pistol shots so often? I like it though.
The new BSPs sound really empty without music, add some Halo 2 music. (Halo 3 sounds a bit too orchestrated and wouldn't fit as well as Halo 2).
The destroyed parts of the POA were epic, but extremely frustrating because you you can't really see much. I suggest strengthening the flashlight so you can see a bit farther away.

Now that I have enabled screenshots for the CMT Single player maps I expect some of you screenshot gurus to upload some spectacular screenshots!
*edit: to all of those complaining about download speeds: We haven't come anywhere near our maximum bandwidth limitations that would slow down transfers. It is either in your head or on your end. Keep in mind that the download is 3 times the size of a normal map so the time to download WILL be longer than you may be use to.
