I fixed it, and I also made the line thinner so it would be more like H3.

Also, how do you make the shield bar do this?

it works perfectly, not too much, dark areas get lit up, and you're blinded when walking in a light area ofcourse, which is also the case in odst ofcourse

not bad, not bad at all. your gradient is perfect, now make a decent alpha channel for it and put it ingame, show us how it looks =P

How do you make dark area lit up? Night vision on sniper rifle?

ya remember that crappy hud i made a while back(for master ryan), well id decided to try my hand at making my own, and yes its done in paint(for concept since school pc's can barely run PS)


NOTES: full health(50 boxes), full sheild(full blue bar), full ammo(full green bar), and no weapon near for pickup(that green box with grey inside on side left bar
second note: the dark grey= see tru....lol



notes: half health, roughly 33% shields, weapon near(itll show up in that side bar on left that sticks out if it is possible), 40% ammo(yellow bar)

the two white circles and boxes n left are for aned(circle has a symbol for type of nade, box for number), right side, the top box(not the colored one) has clip ammo count, bottom one has total ammo count. the two grey lines tru middle of hud are gonna be very very faint, they are like the grooves on the faceplate. might make radar red, or orange i dont know...lol
comments(and not omg that suks, etc etc.... and yes again i know its paint but ts a quick concept i did while in class....

inaccurate, the objective bitmap shouldnt even be there.

ok so you say he rips the hud and now you say its inaccurate.

Tbh, I never liked you BP, because you ripped from H3MT, but now that i look at this... Ripped or not. Its cool. I hate odst, but this was a well done hud.

Working on this HUD for 3 days now, everything is pretty much done other than the ammo counters. Every part of the HUD is created by HDoan other than the weapon icons which was created by AVP_Dragon (Or Mr. Big).








Then the screenshots I was too lazy to grab ingame, so here are the xfire grabs from awhile ago (lowres =[).






and just for the heck of it (ignore ew crosshair)


Finally sorry for the dark map.

Open up the master.weapon_hud_interface (or whatever parent tag you use in the wep)
and add the elements for low ammo etc

Did anyone do the Part of the HUD to where when you get down to at least like 6 or nine shots the ammo meter will then blink red?

if you don't know what i mean watch this video at about
00:45-55 and watch his ammo meter.

Because i have heard about it but i haven't seen any pics on it

You attach it to the fp weapon, like the AR compass, but put it where it is in the HUD and don't attach it to the gun, so it doesn't move.

That's the same as not knowing it at all - I know timetravelling is possible, but I don't know how.
I didn't knew because I proved it wasn't possible, it now proved it was though.

you have to rig it, but yes that's what i meant with modelling it into the gun, but you need to make a still node wich is alot of effort if you want to reanimate every gun for that

something personal, i liked the blue lines that appear when viewing the overhead map in odst, so i added it for the fancy of it


e1: i edited hunter's old odst attachements model and unwrapped it with dsf's texture

idk if people don't like it i'll remove it in the final release, im keeping it in for my own maps though

Does it matter which? Release generally means to give out to others. If one person gets it, and has permission to give it out to others, others can take it, pass it on, and create maps with it.

I like. But on the score meters, shouldn't the arrow be pointing towards the blue bar on top, and not the one on the bottom?
