I never had a problem with Steam. I barely use it but when I do it works just fine. Unless it's a problem with the Company as a whole besides for their services. That and Steam games are not exactly any more difficult to mod than any other game. Especially if they some how incorporate the Steam Workshop with Forge maps and such.

Then again, I only really purchase Multiplayer games over Singleplayer games. Since Halo 3 is
1) A fantastic game and
2) a multiplayer

If it is sold I will purchase it. I still believe it would be a good buy just because it is Halo 3.

So apparently, Halo 3 on the PC might sound a bit more realistic now with this news.

It is said that is it found in the Database but might just be a mistake or some other kind of anomaly.

What are your thoughts on Halo 3 on PC?
and what could this mean for the halo maps community?

If it were possible, would you drop what you had for Halo CE and move to the Halo 3 engine if it were as easy or more difficult than that of the Halo CE engine?

Looks nice. A suggestion would be making the mainmenu selection work with 1920x1080. Having Open Sauce allows this limit now and when I have 1920x1080 used, the main menu selection stretches. The highlighted orange selection area is off.

The models look a tab bit alike. Halo:CEA will be a fun experience to those who love Halo 1 on the console. No reason this should even be on a Halo 1 PC/CE forum. Has nothing to do with it, this is CE discussion. Why discuss Xbox on a PC forum? And to those 'haters' of the models and animations, if you listen to the commentary videos or those from SDCC, they always tell you this is alpha/beta stages. Everything changes, and more than likely it will change again, to what the community likes. It's also the same reason on why they replaced the pistol and AR model, the COMMUNITY, asked them to. They were in for testing and will be tweaked or fully replaced to fit what the community wants, and what best goes with the original game.

And for multiplayer, you do not need to own Reach for it. It comes with the multiplayer built in. Yes it uses Reach's engine, but that's because they didn't want to separate the two games and communities away from one another. Even if you do not buy Halo:CEA, you can later download the maps in a map pack just for Reach. They are also creating a playlist specifically for the maps, it will be pure classic mode and change up the game play, as if it wasn't even like you were playing Reach. It's going to be a big title update, they will also be adding something else too, but I'm unsure of what it might be.

Just take another ENBSeries and post the d3d9.dll in you main halo directory. It should be fixed then. Use the enb series in my video above. It works for me

This video explains that it is on reach engine but they are revamping it to be exactly like Halo 1. Same Halo 1 HUD, weapon animations, weapon damage. Everything.. even mentions the Netcode once lol.
