Well my drawing isn't exactly the best so it might seem weird. Like with the bottom, the visor is a little too tall...
As for the obscure part, do you mean how the shield bar is at the bottom and the health is at the top?

Here is my HUD (so-far), I still gotta add the second weapon, grenades, and radar... Credit goes to Shade117 pro for the AR. I just recolored it.  It looks a little crapped up because I had to resize it and besides, this is mostly a reference for me... Its just a draft and I just need to see what it should look like. The lower score bar is only for co-op, and if you want to make a firefight with it like me, you won't need that, since AI will never sync. ;P but yea looking good, but make it more high res like i do, i traced screenshots and made a huge resolution which most people dissaprove of (thats just me) but if that blackshot of yours is the actual resolution... well you get the point but keep it up, looking like mine lol just work on the res abit, fyi i make my huds at 4096x2048

Looks kinda creepy then... Anyway I actually have request... Can somebody create a Halo 3 version of the Frag Grenade and Plasma Grenade icons using these two colors  ? The darker green is used for the outline. Full credit will be given. I did recolor that AR but I used paint (took me two hours) and I really don't have any good photo editing software. And I just tried compiling a bitmap of that size with 32 bit, tool errored. Also making HUD bitmaps any larger than 1024x1024 is just stupid.

Anyhow Yeh disaster, I know you do, and alot of people optimise, but I just don't. As far as my optimising goes, is cropping elements for individual use. it works fine for me so i don't see no reason to do so, i make this for my fun, not anyone elses. besides, i've moved to the cryengine now anyways, i dont think this is gonna be released unless on crymods's forums, so i dont have to optimise for the people that use microwaves as their computer. no matter how ridiculous it may seem, im not optimising untill i need it myself.
