The turret will be classified a a vehicle , which means it is capable of doing splatter damage , so yes , if you get everything right , you can splatter your enemies with a turret.

the grunts on the original campaign always splatter me with the shade turret,so it would be also in spv2,but its pretty rare having an enemy Run RIGHT into the turret, but its cool.
Cookie please?

How many turret kinds will be in spv2?i know about the needler one,and the new improved shade, will there be the original shade/a portable cov turret?,too bad you cant rip shade's guns -.-

So is spv2 going to be released all in one day, or in order from first to last level over a period of time?

Two Things:

1) Which type of pistol is CMT implementing in SPv2? The Halo 1 God-Machine? or the Halo2/3 realistically weakened pistol?

2) Has CMT solved the problem where if you used the custom UI to play Campaign, You weren't able to save checkpoints and had to finish an entire level in one sitting?

All the Map Files will be released in a day , im not sure if they will be in a single file or like in the case of SPv1 , map by map. It probably wont be released over time , that would just cause more pressure to do a shoddy job and finish it fast. Which is why it hasnt been out for a long time , they're making it polished and the best the Halo 1 Engine can run.

They have a black spec-ops laser sighted pistol

Is the pistol the same strength as the ODST Variant?
Or is it still the Handcannon?

The answers are : If they finish sooner , it will be out sooner , if they finish later , it will be out later.

Liked the broadcast, Firefox lag was annoying, not as annoying as the "unresponsive script" on the chat window, meaning I couldn't say anything...
If he broadcasts again I won't mind the chat thing as much, as I may record it (with my crappy internet) I won't be able to say much anyway...

edit: not just the seats, but the AA Wraith on a30 had a normal Wraith's fire, gave Masters one hell of a time to get past it...

On a completely different note, I decided to play through SPv1 again for the hell of it. Something I hadn't noticed before is the ability to have zero bars of health left and still be able to fight. Reminded me of Left 4 Dead where when you "die" unless it's by something really nasty you have a sort of "last stand" period in which someone can save you and you can still fire.

That really turns off people. If you can't give an exact time give an approximate time for Pete Stacker's sake.

Ed:Where'd Vern go?

2nd Ed:Why are there 2 lasers on Snow Grove; one takes 25 per shot, the other takes 24? Seriously, this would be overpowering in SPv2.

Yes,you are right about the laser, but when i play,it shoots 24 when you release the mouse when firing,i think. But ive seen that the SPV2 laser is another version of it,like the halo 3 one,So its not really a problem.Too bad i never see the broadcasts,RECORDING FTW!

Here's a link to the channel where the broadcasts have been going:
http://www.youtube.com/BroadcastHalo
(Dennis, if you'd do the honors...)

There may be more ones by random users, but I believe these are the ones Vern has been doing.

July 2007. December 2008. April 2009.

Those were some of our internal planned release dates, from what I remember. Now do you understand why we say "It's done when it's done"?

You're a tad over-do dont ya think?

Jokes aside, I understand why they wouldn't put any definitive release date on these sorta things. Mainly because if they did, they'd be pressured for release and could release something bad, i.e Halo 2.
