You'd need a specially set up vehicle, and custom animations. Oh, and you'd need to write the script for every single vehicle you have.
Edited by Gamma927 on Jun 18, 2009 at 11:48 PM

Basically, for the script I set above, you would need:

A modified ghost model that has a marker called "board_front", located at the wing of the ghost.

Vehicle Entering Animations for the seat "board_front" for the cyborg.

And that should be it.

Will the new brute model be smarter then the old one and there will be both brutes and elites?

yes there will be both brutes and elites. There won't be new brutes. They're finalized except for the sheild colours. How was the old one "stupid"?

It's Bungie's mistakes' fault that we have the brute plasma rifle.

this is the most ridiculous thing i have read all day today. im not even going to bother explaining why this is wrong

It's not really a mistake, but Bungie's admitted that the BPR really isn't all that great.

I'm pretty sure the spiker was supposed to be in h2, but, again, due to time constraints they swapped it for the brute PR. So, blame M$

Problems with watching the Live broadcast.
When using FireFox , the Broadcast wont start , it'll just say :No live video is avaliable. Are you sure there's an active broadcast when you do this? Masters doesn't broadcast 24/7, and only when he has Halo CE open will the broadcast happen.
When using IE , the page refuses to respond. IE sucks anyway, but ultimately it's the same as Firefox.
When using Chrone , it lags a heckuvalot. Chrome has no support for Dynno.
Last option is to use Safari =S. As stated above, Safari has no support.

And I have tried using Opera back when the chat was lagging in Firefox and IE, no support there either.

It could wear a tux and be polite to girls. I think he meant would the brutes AI be smarter. They probably will be.

I use IE 8, best browser I've ever used, and it has full support for xfire broadcasts without lag, and my computer is complete crap. I don't know why you're not seeing video, but it's definitely not IE.

Eh, I still don't know if you know what you're talking about. It's not the "model" that moves the AI. It's the actor variant and actor tags that determines dodging, panicking, and berserking characteristics.

This effects the player how? I mean how does it in challenge.

The AI is what adds variety to an enemy's actions. Based on the situation, the enemy could do one of many things, and even then it could change from encounter to encounter.

So in terms of challenge, a smarter AI means that it will most likely be that much more effective at killing you.

Bo you dumb child, you beat me to it. :(

The Brutes' shields don't look very good though. It's all just one solid color.

So basically the brutes' shield effects are the same as the one in Halo 3 ODST? I preferred them without the whole shield flaring up - it's too similar to the elites'.

Regarding the boost, I just found this ghost on extinction AI. It isn't protected, so I assume we're free to use them? However the problem is that it's... red. And you don't want to fire the weapon.

Its also on the normal extinction (i think) its the brute ghost that fires BPR bullets and has a boost,i dont think that CMT would like to use it.the grunts are in a new model right?cus in spv1 they were the normal grunties (and again,i think so)

Aww man... All they need is a sound and color overhaul. And really, it matches the H2 ghost just fine with a purple color and with normal projectiles. I'm gonna try to improve it.

Neither did Taimat.

We're reusing things that Bungie made. Not like their stuff was bad.

The grunt is getting a skin overhaul, and possibly a new model. Dunno.
