Dont flame me just for asking this, but whats a DDoSer? and DDoS in general?
I know windows are possible, but as i said this will be a covenant ship and it would look stupid to have a window going from the center of the ship to the very edge (remember, it'll be draco sized
As a personal project of my own, i have decided to attempt to make a fair-looking covenant aircraft that is similair to the Draco. However, i dont want it to have a view port right at the front of the ship where the pilot has to be. I'm going to make it slightly canon so the pilot is in the center with most other useful seats around him.
What I really want to know is this: is it possible to make it so you have view screens that show the outside of the ship as if there was a window leading to the outside of the ship there?
(Note: i dont care if you think that the draco is the worst vehicle u guys have ever seen, complain about it somewhere else)
hows the cockpit of the hawk going to work when you get in? is it gonna just flip down like a banshees'? or is it gonna slide back like the Kestrel?
Btw, I love everything i see in that pic.

I guess the entire city is a bit too big for a non-story based level. I don't know how much you were gonna cut out of it though, so i only had my experience of New Mombassa-based levels (the most of which are pretty huge). Still it'd be nice if you could experience different scenarios against the covenant.
Also, please don't put additional spartans, they'd be a horrible addition, due to the fact that the player would probably let 5-8 marines die just to help out one AI spartan who could probably save himself anyways.
i think hijacking would be too hard to now add it in. unless some CMT member wanted to help him (unlikely to due schedules with SPv2 + they have lives too ya know). you never know i might be wrong.
Also, would there be more than one battle going on in the city like a group of marines in one part of the city, another battle group in the other. This would be nice to have so you could experience different types of battles like infantry v. infantry, Vehc v. Vehc, Humans v. air raid, etc. Edited by Hawkeye on Jul 19, 2009 at 09:23 PM

so in this mod will the vehicles be destroyable? Both Covenant and human? I was hoping that this way you couldnt just go on a invincable warthog joyride and never get killed.
Also, will the human drivers drive along the road? or will they be everywhere?

so if you have even a semi old PC, you should be okay as long as you have some upgraded graphics cards and such.
Also, Lod3x, have you taught the marines how to fight as if they were a real fighting force and not like the morons from Alien 2? for example, do they know how to use cover and retreat when its obvious they should? I mean its no use buffing them up if you have to use yourself as a human shield because they constantly go in the middle of No mans land and fire at the largest contingent.
Im pretty sure they're gonna leave that as a surprise Segway.
Wouldn't want to ruin the fun, now would you?
Two Things:
1) Which type of pistol is CMT implementing in SPv2? The Halo 1 God-Machine? or the Halo2/3 realistically weakened pistol?
2) Has CMT solved the problem where if you used the custom UI to play Campaign, You weren't able to save checkpoints and had to finish an entire level in one sitting?
I'm surprised no one has asked about this yet, but are all the SPv1 turrets like the needler-T and the wraith-T/shade-T being replaced by the halo 2 like turrets. sorry if this already has been said, but i searched the whole Thread and i didnt see it.

Sorry for the mix-up, I was only wondering where the CoQ was, I already found the Opsy Juice in the cafeteria so i don't know why you said you didnt use it.

Bo: I'm looking forward to it.
Geared: I would recommend adding something to the back to pinch off the design. It sort of looks like a flying box. Or, if you want to make it a troop transport, keep the back like a box but add a slight overhang, "to protect the troops" (and make it look good).
Another thing I think you could do is extend the ceiling a little bit foward and make the cockpit a little bit smaller unless it has a copilot/gunner seat beside the pilot.
Give me details on what you want it to be and maybe I could toss a couple more ideas your way.
Consider this my official request for any vehicle designers looking for something to do. As I don't know much about making a vehicle, I will only burden you with 3 requirements:
1. It has to be able to contain players in all of the seats, with passenger seats being first person.
2. It has to move at a speed fast enough to simulate free falling.
3. It must be based off the Bumble Bee platform (this means no Weapons!)
(Optional request: could you please format the controls for piloting the aircraft so that forward=falling speed and backwards=reverse thruster speed (pressing back will make the fins pop out and the reverse thrusters activate.)
